Bro was defs a troll looking for engagement. Last night he posted a since-deleted ridiculous “protocol” where he (of course) insulted obese people and said they had no standards. Funny thing is, in his intro (which I didn’t really read, but I did scope his user page just to see what foolishness this fool was up to) it seems like he’s 10lbs down after starting Reta, like the very beginning of a journey. So I think you’re right—a LOT of insecurity and self-dislike there.

The great thing about this forum: you can troll all you want, but 🙁 and 😡 reactions don’t count toward your likes, and replies don’t count toward them either, so being a jackass doesn’t work toward advancing from NSD.

It was fun, but it didn't meet the criteria for a Drama Read from the very start. A real, genuine Drama Thread is honestly kind of rare here, because it requires at least two oppositing parties, both of whom believe they are "right" and at least one of whom is going to silly expenditure-of-mental-energy lengths to "win" at Internet Fite.

In a real Drama Thread, I either never post to begin with, or withdraw completely and be very quiet as soon as I suspect it's actually starting to go down; just me posting can totally derail a Drama Thread before it even gets going because one or more participants sees me and realizes I'm eagerly waiting for them to produce ridiculousness for me to eat. Which, in turn, makes them suddenly remember that Internet Fites ARE kind of ridiculous, and they lose interest.

But this was never going to be a Drama Thread because the initial poster (who I believe was the same guy who piped up in the sharps-container thread chirping about wanting to hurt homeless people) was never actually feeling any feelings except boredom, and his troll was lazy enough that most people couldn't be bothered to be real mad.
