I've been dosing Tesamorelin at 1mg/Daily, taking it at 3am, for roughly 50 days. Yesterday morning I woke up with intense pain in one ankle only. It's visibly swollen, and it doesn't look like fluid retention — it seems more like the bone itself, or possibly the joint cartilage, is swollen. I could barely walk. I've had gout in the past, and this is definitely not gout.

There's no clear injury or bruising. I can't recall doing anything that would have hurt it. The day before, I was on my feet a lot and driving a tractor; that ankle works the hydrostatic drive pedal, which needs a fairly firm push.

With Ben Gay, a lot of Ibuprofen, and an ace bandage wrap, it's manageable by day 2. Just barely.

Could this be the Tesa? Maybe I rolled it without noticing? Or am I just being a wimp?

I'm almost through vial #5. I'm considering pausing for a few weeks or months. But if it's only a sprain and I stop, I won't be able to tell what actually caused it. ?

Has anyone else dealt with something like this?

Thanks, I'll check that out.

It's day 3 now, and since I haven't stopped the Tesa, yet the ankle has recovered to roughly 90%. That makes me doubt it's the extremely uncommon bone pain side effect. It also seems unlikely to be the more typical swelling/fluid retention side effect, given that only one side is affected.

A nurse looked at it for streaking or DVT; in her view, I simply pushed it too hard. That day I walked around 4 miles, entirely over uneven terrain, walking the fence line on the North 40 and putting in rabbit guard fencing staples at the vineyard.

Probably it's just overuse plus a small injury that I didn't feel when it happened.
