Tesa experience?

I have vials containing 20 mg Tesa / 5 mg IPA and I'm planning to begin in roughly two weeks. Because I'm also on RETA, my idea is to dose in the morning while fasted. Keeping everything to AM dosing would fit my schedule better.

Should I keep them in separate pens, pull both into one syringe, or combine them in a single vial?

My plan was to reconstitute the IPA with 1 mL BAC water, then after reconstituting the Tesa with 2 mL BAC water, transfer it into the Tesa vial and mix. If my calculations are right, that works out to 15 units per dose for 1 mg Tesa / 250 mcg IPA.

Does this sound reasonable, or would you do it another way?
That's exactly the approach I'd take. Sounds like a solid plan, and morning dosing shouldn't be a problem. It matches how Tesa was administered in this study involving healthy men.

Unlike what most Internet search results and bro science suggest, this trial reported that Tesamorelin boosted nighttime GH pulse duration, pulse count, overall GH plasma secretion, and even basal GH levels between 8PM and 7:30 AM — even though the final Tesa dose was given at noon. And IGF-1 rose considerably after 2 weeks at 2mg, naturally.

These are intriguing results considering Tesa's roughly 30m half-life. It likely accounts for why my deep sleep duration doubled even though I dose tesamorelin in the morning.

That's a really interesting data point — thanks for sharing it. I moved my HGH to the morning, and my sleep has gotten dramatically better.

For this class of compound, I'd argue side effects matter more than dose timing when deciding when to take it.

I'm cycling off the Tesa / Ipa right now and doing a 3-4 week break. My waist (resting belly measurement) currently sits at 33.5", which is down from 37". Once I restart, I'll come back and report whether visceral fat bounces back at all. No GLP's
Was that achieved with just one 12 week cycle? That's genuinely impressive. Were you taking anything else?

When it comes to water retention (this is about HGH, though it holds true for tesa as well):

Deficit remains king, and it’s not even close. All other leverages are icing on the cake at best. In practice, this makes GLP-1s the undisputed GOATs for speedrunning fat loss...

Remember, GH is the icing at best. A big downside is it greatly increases water retention, which fucks with the scale. This can be very demoralizing when you’re pushing 1,000+ cal deficits and not seeing the results on the or in your face that you should be. You take it in stride at first, but after weeks on end, it can wear on you. I’ve stayed away from GH for most of my cut for this exact reason.

That's right. I should have been clearer, though: at the moment I'm not taking any GLP's. During the first 8 weeks of my Tesa cycle I did run a small amount of Reta, roughly 2mg weekly, but I've now been off it for around 4 weeks. Over that same stretch I also ran Mots C at 10mg per week.

From what I understand, Tesa — and CJC/IPA too, apparently — can lead to water retention much like HGH does. When I started adding secretagogues in the mornings, my reta weight loss basically flatlined for a month.

Beyond that I didn't really notice side effects, other than my knees swelling and aching more than they normally do. I figured it was from lifting heavier at the gym and pushing harder in PT for my quad injuries. But AI told me that wasn't it — the swelling and pain were probably from tesamorelin, and it's a pretty common side effect. Huh.

Things got better after roughly 10 weeks and lowering the dose to 5mg/ week. And for a while now the scale has been trending down even though my strength keeps improving.

Both compounds have produced the same effect for me, and research does support what's being said here. Because of the water retention, you may not see the drop in fat mass or the gain in lean mass reflected on the scale.

Where I'd push back is on that meso post advising against GH during a cut. It could be that my dose is well below what the typical meso member runs, but the water retention hasn't been severe enough to hide the results of the reduced fat mass.

Just began tesa!

My initial injection was 1mg. It didn't sting at all, which is a plus. As for everything else, time will tell....
How old are you? When do you pin? Any IGF-1 results if you had it tested? Please keep us updated — I'm very interested. Thanks

58yo. I pin in the morning and have yet to feel any sting.

I got my first DEXA scan recently. It showed that my visceral fat is already on the low side — 1.6lbs, which is 5% of my total fat. Since I'm currently working on body recomp, that doesn't pair especially well with tesa. I'm only now finding out that it isn't really effective against subcutaneous fat, which it turns out makes up most of my belly (so to speak).

SO my plan is to finish this batch at 1-2 mg a day, but I won't stay on it for long.

OH, and with a limited sample size, my sleep hasn't been negatively affected — a win, and it may even be helping a little!

Thought I'd share where I'm at after 6 weeks. I worked my way up gradually to Tesa 0.93mg / Ipa 0.23mg, since jumping straight to 1mg gave me unbearable joint pain. My starting IGF-1 was awful: 78, with a z-score of -1.8. At the 6-week retest, IGF-1 came back at 159 with a z-score of +0.2. I'm still titrating toward the full 1mg (or possibly 1.25mg), so there might be a bit more improvement ahead. Even if it plateaus here, that's roughly a 104% rise over baseline - I'll happily take that 🙂

Early this year I began compounded Semaglutide with a doctor supervising, and I dropped roughly 30 lbs — close to the goal I had set originally. Even so, stubborn belly fat remains, and I suspect some of it is visceral fat.

More recently I moved to the gray market on my own and started Tirzepatide, with plans to add Tesamorline before long. From what I can tell, most people in this thread use Reta rather than Tesa. I already have a fair amount of Tesa on hand, so I'd like to work with that for the time being. Should I expect noticeably different results for any reason?

These work through different pathways!

Tesa can be stacked with Tirz — reta isn't required.

How well it goes will depend on the amount you need to lose and your dosing plan. Most folks here can't offer personalized guidance; they can only share what they've been through.

As for me, I take 1.2mg of Tesa every day plus 6mg reta / week, and it's been going great.

Before starting tesa, get your IGF-1 checked so you have at least a baseline, then retest afterr half of your planned tesa duration.

I plan to get my igf-1 checked both before and after.

I don't have much more to lose; my goal is just to shed some stubborn belly and visceral fat that I haven't been able to get rid of.

I've been injecting tesa at 1mg each evening for roughly 3 weeks now. After eating, I hold off for a minimum of 3 hours, and like most people mention, there's a slight sting. My sleep has been great — for some reason it keeps me asleep through the entire night. I haven't had any joint pain or water weight, though I'd really love to see my abs again...
