Hey everyone, I've got a fight in a few weeks and I've noticed Reta might be able to impact explosive power and other cardio demands in a tough sport. To try to wean off, I've been cutting my doses in half, hoping my endurance will be better for the fight. Has anyone been through something like this — running Reta and then tapering down for an athletic event? There's also a big weight cut the day before the event that involves water manipulation and dehydration, which is why I think having less reta in my system makes sense to reduce variables until after the event. Once I'm through weigh ins, I want to immediately refill carbs and glycogen to get my size and energy back, and I know Reta can slow that down. There are 36 hours between weigh ins and competition. My worry is that my body is currently thriving off Reta even at a small dose (1.5), and that when I come off it I'll be flat from the glucagon reduction. Please share your experiences, tips and research for this newbie!
