Hey everyone. I've been using tirzepatide for close to 2 years now, at 15mg. I don't get any side effects, but I also don't get any appetite suppression, and I still have 7lbs left to lose. Over that time I've averaged 0.6lbs a week — slow, but steady. I'd like to switch to Reta now, but I don't want to run 2 GLPs at the same time, so where should I begin with Reta — 2mg, or should I go higher? Any advice would be appreciated.

Is the Reta already with you? I'm currently using Triz and not long ago began stacking .25mg of Cagri to help with appetite suppression. Just an idea. It appears to be working up to now and costs much less than Tirz or Reta.

I'll be the first to join the chorus of "don't drop the tirz just yet" while you're adding the reta. 2mg is a solid starting dose, so see how that goes first.....If you do want off the tirz, step down a mg or two at a time as you raise the reta....gl!

Yeah, I have plenty of both Reta and cagri on hand. I gave cagri a go twice at just a low dose, but it didn't appear to have any effect, so I set it aside — might give it another shot.

....sema is also a genuinely effective way to break through a plateau....and it costs even less...I introduced a bit of sema roughly 2 weeks back, and side effects have been close to none...my guess is that's because my body is already familiar with GLPs thanks to my time on tirz and reta....

I've spent more than a year on both Tirz and Reta, and I haven't run into any problems. Same as with anything else: research how to ease Reta in gradually while tapering down the Tirz.

I'll be adding sema to my upcoming order for sure. I'd like to keep some in the freezer so it's there when I need it down the road.

I picked up the sema from a vendor listed in the ‘vendor sponsor’ area since I was after 5mg kits…still fairly inexpensive…..I'm starting at .25mg and it works quite well for quieting food noise….I also have cagril, but I'm happy I gave the sema a try…. 👍

I could really use an auto-reply button that only says "stack" 😂 honestly, this thread has some genuinely good advice.

Like the others have said, stay on your current Tirz dose. When you're a few days out from your Tirz shot, begin pinning 2mg of Reta. After 4 weeks, if suppression still isn't enough, bump the Reta up to 4mg while keeping the Tirz the same. From that point, tweak either one as needed. Since you've only got 7 pounds left to lose, hopefully maintenance is right around the corner.

I take tirz on Monday evening and Reta on Friday morning, so there are 4 days between each shot. My doses on both are fairly low, but my aim was a slow loss in the hope of keeping muscle. (T5/R1.5)

On average I'm losing 1.2 lbs per week.

Have you thought about stacking another peptide, such as CJC or TESA? You're getting close to your target weight, and those final few pounds are a real pain.
