Stretching out a nasal spray?

so my plan is to make a DSIP/SELANK nasal spray and test it out. DSIP has worked great for me subQ but the spray is what i want to try, combined with selank. maybe even add something more like gaba later. but here are my questions.

1. using bac water to recon and then diluting with saline ought to bring some nose discomfort, right?

2. and if saline is what dilutes it, will the alcohol percentage even be enough to do anything?

3. if saline is all i use, what is the shelf life going to be, 2 week or something? or does skipping the injection step mean it keeps longer before it becomes a concern?

4. could i split the total dosages so the whole vial doesnt have to be used up against that super short shelf life? like recon with just enough bac, then take out only however much i want to use nasally and leave the rest sitting in the full bac so it keeps for longer? and then it is back to question 1.

any info is welcome. these are the kinds of overthinking questions i have that i couldn't find answers to

Pretty much the same things came up when I looked it up. This is what I took away from it.

1. Bac water is not the recommended way to reconstitute a nasal spray. Saline is.
   
2. Some people do add a little bac water. At those volumes its efficacy is questionable though, and it may still cause nasal irritation.
   
3. Saline alone gives a shelf life of 2–3 weeks (conservatively). With good hygiene it can be 4 weeks. Which lines up quite neatly with the recommended cycle.
   
4. A very specific proportion of the API and volume of saline can be reconstituted, to get your dose, and keep the lifetime to 4 weeks. There are plenty of internasal calculators to help with this.
