I have been taking reta for about 5 months, made it to 4mg once a week. Had a C6 corpectomy and stopped reta about 2 weeks before surgery. Been home for a month and started back immediately at 2mg the day I returned and another 2mg a couple of days later, then back to 4mg on my regular schedule. Felt like it wasn't working. Went to 5mg the past 2 weeks (pin on sundays) and here it is wednesday and I feel like snacking all of the time. Before surgery everything was going great. Dropped from 275 to 222 in those 5 months and now I am at 227. I currently cannot do much until the doc clears me to start exercising again but what can I try to do to get this back to working? Here are my current protocols: BPC157 1mg twice a day, KPV 300mcg twice a day, Testosterone Cyp 40mg M/W/F, Reta Sundays 5mg, TB500 2.5mg Mon/Thurs, MotsC 2.5mg M/W/F, SS-31 2mg daily, Slu-pp-332 300mcg daily, GHK-cu 2mg daily. That is my current schedule. Shortly I will be restarting tesamorelin/ipamorelin. I do have cagrilintide on the way and was thinking of starting that on thursdays to help.

Has anyone ran into this situation before? Everything was going so smoothly and neck surgery had to throw a monkey wrench into the plan. Any changes to my current protocol? I researched them quite a bit ago and you know how things change all of the time.

Yes, i had to stop tirz and a similar situation happened. When i got back to it I had to really up my dosage to get the same effect. If I were you id jump to 8mg to see if the effect comes back. What you dont want is cravings settling in and gaining weight back. I mean you still are on 5mg reta so you shouldnt gain a lot of weight. In my case I stopped cold turkey for a month and gained a good 12lbs or so back. Took a while and a much higher dose to get bavk down afterwards.

Hope you’re doing good though and glad to see surgery went well. This is a small problem to have in the grand scheme of things. Bump up the dosage and youll be fine.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to give this 5mg another week. I may go up to 6mg next week to see if it falls back in line. I am trying to go up small amounts and prolong the time to get to max. I am about at my weight loss goal and I am sure that once I can workout again, it will come back off.
