Really?

Ivermectin was first discovered in the 1970s by Japanese microbiologist Satoshi Omura and Irish parasitologist William C. Campbell. Ivermectin has become a versatile pharmaceutical over the past 50 years. Ivermectin is a derivative of avermectin originally used to treat parasitic infections. Emerging literature has suggested that its role goes beyond this and may help treat inflammatory conditions, viral infections, and cancers. Ivermectin’s anti-parasitic, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anticancer effects were explored. Its traditional mechanism of action in parasitic diseases, such as scabies and malaria, rests on its ability to interfere with the glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrates and the lack of P-glycoprotein in many parasites. More recently, it has been discovered that the ability of ivermectin to block the nuclear factor kappa-light-chain enhancer of the activated B (NF-κB) pathway that modulates the expression and production of proinflammatory cytokines is implicated in its role as an anti-inflammatory agent to treat rosacea. Ivermectin has also been evaluated for treating infections caused by viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2 and adenoviruses, through inhibition of viral protein transportation and acting on the importin α/β1 interface. It has also been suggested that ivermectin can inhibit the proliferation of tumorigenic cells through various pathways that lead to the management of certain cancers. The review aimed to evaluate its multifaceted effects and potential clinical applications beyond its traditional use as an anthelmintic agent.

By the way your comment pointed at "some people" I'm assuming you were aiming at people taking it for covid. You should do some research, here's is an article for you (from an official government site). Doctors were actually prescribing it to help patients.

I had the most excruciating heal pain. Taking the weight off my foot would hurt more than anything I can remember. The podiatrist prescribed me custom orthopedics for plantar faciatis (sp) and physical therapy. It only got worse. The orthopedics have made the bottoms of my feet sensitive to touch. Pedicures are not nearly as enjoyable.

When all that didn't work, he wanted to remove both my Achilles tendons and reattach them to my heels. The down time would have been 6 months to a year, I couldn't afford that. So that option was out.

I did research into glow (bpc-157, tb500 + ghk-cu) and decided to give it a try. I do not remember the time frame. At first it didn't feel like anything was happening. After a month or so I haven't had anything like the pain I had before. I have been able to walk normal (10 hrs a day pounding concrete), I do feel some soreness on occasion and the sensitivity caused by the orthopedics is still there.

I have since gone away from glow. Now I do the wolverine stack (bpc-157 + tb500) and the ghk-cu individually, I like to have a little more control. I do cycle on and off.

I know that these peps do not heal me directly but create the environment in my body for it to heal itself. All in all I believe that these peps have greatly helped my situation.

On a side note. I also believe these peps may be the reason I have little to no stretch marks from losing a good chunk of weight on retatrutide.

If anyone has any input or a similar story I would be curious to know.

Can confirm.

I would take my dog for a walk (3+mi) but by that evening, I would be in real pain; the next day I could barely get out of bed. The first 5 minutes were just excruciating. Both Plantar Fasciitis and knee pain. Dog walks were becoming less frequent as the pain got worse, creating a vicious cycle where I was gaining weight and having even more pain.

Had tried Dr prescribed Sema, quit after a month or 2, due to no weight loss.

Fast forward a year, tried Tirz. Quickly began losing weight. Discovered this website, hours of reading, per day! Noticed significant improvement in my knees and ankles. This led me to read about "Wolverine". Decided to try my own blend, BPC, TB, and GHK-Cu.

3 months in, and it's amazing. Knee pain nearly gone, foot pain maybe 10% of what it used to be.

Now, I can't honestly say if it's the Tirz, the Wolverine, the GHK, or some combo. But the difference is just amazing.

The weight loss is the obvious, visual thing. But the improvements in knee and foot joint are far more significant, to me at least.

I would say the people who still claim that it can solve a million different diseases who then point to reports using self reported results as the "source".

Same thing as most of these peptides but that doesn't seem to bother you.

I work in R&D and have run larger samples for non-medical testing so that alone was not great.

The only thing I could take away from this is that directionally it could be helpful and when you run larger trials then you could actually learn something.

Again if the data is solid I would apologize to the ivermectin weirdos. But from a look at the larger trial data, this is not backed up.

The data from the study you linked is about a reduction in hospitalization and viral clearance. And people to this day will make claims about prevention along a million other unbacked claims.

The hidden history of BPC-157, a favorite MAHA peptide

If you love origin stories, this is a really interesting article about the origin of this peptide, discovered by a Croatian researcher, and what we might expect coming up with RFK.

I apologize for being one of the people that have derailed your thread because it is a good one. I just can't put up w/ these people throwing out politics all the time and it's getting worse.

I come here to order up some info on weight loss, peptides and health. I didn't ask for a side of CNN and MSNBC. You know like how they always serve grits w/ your breakfast at Cracker Barrel.

You're in a thread where my first comment is about looking forward to more data for BPC157 for exactly that reason. A ton of the peptides here for sure do not have enough data for the claims they are making, which is why I would welcome more of it.

How you came to the conclusion that I am unbothered by it is beyond me.

Very interesting story.

I hate that this type of medicine has to be associated with MAHA. I wish Senator Kennedy would keep his mouth closed regarding peptides and TRT, since his mentioning anything immediately reduces its credibility to the general populace.

I don't want anything that could help people being associated with politics. It's just so hard to separate it all, after the absolutely evil blunder that was Dem handling of Covid and the ongoing evil blunder on the other side of the coin.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Been running BPC/KPV for about 3 weeks, recently added in full chain TB4, and when I shaved the other day I noticed that I had no pain at all with my cheap ass Walmart razor and didn't cut myself once. Normally I can feel the whiskers pulling and there's at least some pain when I'm not using the safety razor, but this time it's like my skin was thicker.

Of course that's beside the amazing recovery time and evaporated back pain.

The review that you posted talks about potential cancer-fighting benefits of the drug, but covers a meta-analysis of 25 randomized clinical trials investigating ivermectin to improve covid outcomes which found zilch. No change to patient outcomes or likelihood of ventilation.

Ivermectin is a fine drug. I have nothing against it, and I think it's stupid to villify it. I've taken it a few times myself. There's literally no downside to using it and the "it's a horse drug!" argument from the Dems was absolutely ridiculous.

The analysis that @Rolltide61 posted above actually mentions this study and notes that subsequent studies failed to replicate the results.

This study appears to be garbage science from Bangladesh sponsored by a drug manufacturer who sells ivermectin in that country. And, spoiler alert, they didn't control for parasitic infection. There are a lot of parasites in that part of the world, and taking an antiparasitic medication when you have parasites is going to boost your immune system like no tomorrow.

Maybe you should do some more research. Just because you find a study with the title that says what you're after doesn't mean that there's really any evidence. If you've taken it yourself and it blasted your COVID out of the water, I personally would be more interested to hear that than some bullshit science funded by a drug manufacturer. I took it while I was sick with covid and it didn't seem to do shit for me.

And if it did do something for you, how do you know you didn't have parasites? lots of Americans do.

Don't act so persecuted. The right has achieved cultural dominance and they control the government currently. You'll survive a little CNN.

I actually did take it during Covid. No mask, no vaccines, never got covid. Even tho I did absolutely nothing else to prevent it. I had friends and family get it and I was around them, guess I’m immune

I agree, let’s drop the left vs right BS. This is a peptides group, no politics. Sorry OP for the derailment

Edited to say that no matter how much arguing no one is changing their stance on this issue

I'm on 500mcg BPC/daily, TB-500 2mg/2xWk, and GHK-Cu 2mg/daily, for about 2 months.

When these Carts run out (I use pens), I figured on taking a break for 1.5 months. So that'll be 3mo on, 1.5mo off. Timing it to work with my work schedule. I work at a distant outpost far from home for months at a time; I'll resume the Wolverine when I return home, or possibly sooner if I see a degradation in my benefits.

BPC is most effective dosed twice daily. Most people do 0.5mg twice a day. I believe that 3x daily is more effective, but I'll save that for when I have injector pens.

TB, most people either dose it with the BPC or do about 5mg per week. TB4 is what you're after, that's the more expensive full molecule. TB500 is a fragment and what most chinese sellers have. They say that TB4 has a shorter half life, but most peptides are eliminated more or less instantly and seem to cause downstream effects. TB500 has a longer half life which is why some people suggest to take 2-5mg at a time on a weekly basis.

I am very new. So, trying not to pin myself more than once a day. Maybe I'll get there at some point.

Wow, really?! What effects do you feel?

Just all aches and pains are gone. Going to sleep, waking up, working out, nothing. Washing the dishes used to kill my back and now I barely notice a dull ache after hours on my feet. Don't really have to stretch before running now either, I just do it once to crack my back and then I'm gone.

Not even running TB either. I ran a week of TB4 with it last week, but as far as I can tell BPC does the heavy lifting. Skin is also a lot better.

Epithalon did some incredible things for sleep as well and I desperately need more. I was waking up every day fully rested with zero grogginess and zero stiffness. Now I'm back to being groggy lol
