Starting Reta Alongside Tirzepatide: How Should I Dose and Time It?

Hi all,

Right now I'm on tirzepatide and I take a fairly loose "flex" approach—I dose based on what I feel I need.

Typically I stay somewhere between 7.5mg and 15mg each week, and occasionally I divide that into 2 doses.

As an example, last Thursday I took 7.5mg, but it didn't quite do the job, so I added 11.25mg on Sunday and since then it's been perfect.

I've never had any side effects.

I'd like to bring Reta into the mix, but I'm not sure what the best way to go about it is. Maybe I should switch to a "real system" and take Reta and triz on a fixed dose with fixed timing.

Honestly, though, my "flex" approach has been working really well so far—I listen to my body.

I'm curious how you all did it. Would you keep the triz high and the reta low? Or the other way around?

I've never taken any Reta—only trizepatide so far.

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, but your approach to tirzepatide—or possibly retatrutide—really doesn't add up. The standard dosing schedules and the step-up protocols exist because research established them; there's solid reasoning behind them.

These drugs need time to reach a steady baseline in your body. Doing what you're doing—7.5 mg today, 15 mg on Saturday, then another 11 mg on Tuesday just to be safe—clearly won't work well. And now you want to stack retatrutide on top, using the same disorganized method? First you need to impose some structure on your dosing, then observe what happens after four weeks. GLP-1s aren't like cocaine—you can't just use them to flood your brain and set off a sudden, powerful high.

💯

My recommendation is to try this tool so you can get a clearer picture of how half-lives influence peptide accumulation in your body.

Wow, how did you land on that Tirzepatide dosing schedule? Which expert, doctor, forum, or gym bro told you to take random doses?

I wouldn't add any other peptide until you've worked out how to use your first one.

I agree, his approach is completely inconsistent.

He's got fewer than 15 posts on the forum altogether, and he's going around giving out some poor guidance!

Hello everyone,

i am currently taking trizepatide, I have a bit of a „flex“ approach and dose whatever is needed.

Usualy I hover between 7.5mg and 15mg per week, sometimes this is split to 2 doses.

For example past thursday i did 7.5mg, which didnt really hit the spot, so on sunday i added 11.25mg and since then its perfect.

I never had any side effects.

I want to add Reta but I am unsure what the best approach is? Maybe I should start with a „real system“ and take Reta and triz with a fixed dosage and fix timing.

But honestly, im going really well with my „flex“ approach so far, listening to my body.

Im curious, how did you do it? Would you keep the triz high and the reta low? Or vice versa?

I never took any Reta, I only took trizepatide sEasy ther

Take it easy there, BIGGUY... The general agreement in these parts is to go Low and Slow. The whole point is to use the MINIMUM EFFECTIVE dose!!! If Tirz is doing right by you, there's no call to add, swap, or stack anything on top... You haven't mentioned how long you've been researching or what your starting, current, and goal weights are. It's possible to drop weight too quickly and hurt yourself. A couple 2-3 pounds per week is far more suitable, and some would even argue 2lbs a month is the healthiest, though not many people can keep themselves to that low a rate when doing "better" comes so easily. Put your focus on your diet, with extra attention on getting enough protein so you lose as little lean body mass as possible. Hydration should be way up on your priority list. Can't imagine anyone getting too much exercise either, though I wouldn't know... Don't be neglecting good sleep. Think marathon, not race. You'll likely be using peptides from now on, at least most folks find that to be true. So work on finding some balance and changing the life-time of BAD eating habits, replacing them with something better.

And WELCOME.
