Hi everyone,

Peptides have been on my radar for quite a while, and I'm finally ready to dig into what they're all about. The injection aspect was what held me back before—I associated it with steroids, basically introducing foreign substances into the body. Reading about all the negative effects from that sort of thing kept me from exploring further. However, with growing research behind peptides, retatrutide in particular, my confidence has grown. That's how I ended up here after searching on google and Reddit—glad to find this great community.

There seem to be countless peptides offering various advantages. If anyone has solid experience or is in a comparable situation, I'd really appreciate some direction.

About me: mid 40's, 5'9" and 160lbs. I lift weights 3 days/week. I take a statin for high cholesterol. What I'm after is a stack to target visceral fat and increase energy. Avoiding TRT is preferable if possible. Thanks so much in advance.

My own take: don't pile on a whole stack of peptides straight away. Pick a single one to begin with (from what you've said, reta seems to be your pick, and for fat as well as cholesterol it does look like a solid option), give it a few months to see how you respond, and only then, if you still feel you need more, bring in another one at a time. That approach means that should an unwanted side effect show up, you'll be able to tell which peptide caused it.

That makes sense. Could reta be beneficial for my cholesterol? If so, that would be fantastic. What kind of side effects could reta cause?
