Hi!

Picture the first Monday of January at the gym — that’s me, the fresh face, decked out head to toe in never-worn workout clothes! 😂

45F, South Carolina, USA

For 1 year I was on tirz, prescribed through 1 of those online docs that later send it from a US compound RX.

Results came. I felt amazing. Pounds came off. Then it hit me.. .hmm…maybe there’s a better route 🤔

So I looked into things, came across Reta, and did all the incredibly clever digging on it (which means ONLY scrolling Reddit posts 😂). Fine, maybe not so clever 🤷‍♀️

Anyway — here I am now! And I’m about to get way smarter! And really put in the research and education!

Thanks for welcoming me! Happy new year!

Cut yourself some slack — I had Chat GBT putting together my meal prep and workout plan. It got So ridiculous that I uploaded amenity pics I pulled from my apartments webpage of the gym to determine if I had the correct equipment to do the routine it formulated, as well as buying links from GNC for extra recommended supplements. Also added only the types and brands of food I like that gotta meal prep today. After adding my summer labs, fall labs and Shotsy progress screen shot. Added my latest progress pics and goal pic. I said figure this crap out with 100 degree certainty by x date. And it did it lol.

Learning things takes patience, and it's tough when every site does things its own way. Stick to just Reddit and the only perspectives you'll see are the ones that got upvoted.

AI draws heavily from social media. That goes double for peptides, research chemicals, or something still under investigation like Reta. Ask AI about Reta and it'll first tell you it isn't approved, then cite a bit of early clinical trial data, and after that fill in the gaps with Reddit threads.

Calling that the BEST way to learn might be a stretch, but it's a start. So hitting multiple sites is probably the best way, to get a variety of opinions.

Best of luck with reta — that’s the one I’m using too. Before it I’d only done sema for 1 month, so I’ve got nothing to compare on tirz, but honestly it’s been fantastic. And yes, actual out-loud laugh at the part about doing nearly all your research on Reddit, because same 😂 Still, I rate it as a solid source — I’ll defend that take!

That cracked me up 🤣

I'm walking a pretty similar path to yours! We're around the same age, both on compounded tirz and digging into research. Sorting through everything takes effort, but finding this community has been such a relief. Best of luck to you!
