Hey everyone,

Silverman here (from Western Australia), and finding this community was a real stroke of luck. The past couple of weeks have been spent quietly reading posts here, and it finally felt like time to jump in and say hi properly.

Some background: 172 cm, broad shoulders, stocky endomorph build. The waist and lower back are where fat has always loved to hang out, no matter how hard the training or dieting went before. Lifting heavy has been a consistent habit for years (compounds 3–4×/week), yet recovery and stubborn midsection fat have always been a battle.

How I got here: retatrutide was started about 3 weeks ago at 2 mg/week (research/compounded). Wanting something stronger than the usual GLP-1 options for real fat loss, while still holding onto (or even adding) muscle, is what drove the choice.

The results so far have been a surprise:

  • Weight: ~84kg → 80.6kg now (-3kg)
  • Waist: 101cm → 97.5cm (-3.5cm); lower back/love handles already looking slightly thinner (my gf says they are 😛 )
  • Appetite: Very low overall, getting full extremely quickly. I usually eat A LOT!!
  • Energy & mood: Really good actually. No crashes, relaxed and motivated most days
  • Training: heavy compounds on Mon/Wed/Fri, lighter session optional on Saturday
  • Sides: Early skin sensitivity (fever-like tenderness all over) peaked around week 2, now basically 1-2/10. No bad nausea or fatigue waves. Magnesium glycinate plus a strict 11 PM lights out is improving sleep.
Nothing has been more exciting than the waist measurement coming down in CM.

What I want to get out of this:

  • Losing more fat (stubborn waist/lower back especially) while holding or building muscle
  • Working out the best long-term titration so sides don't creep back
  • Tesamorelin may be added soon for extra visceral fat shred + muscle support
  • Tips for keeping recovery strong after high-volume pull/push days (HRV dips after big sessions but rebounds okay with rest + mag)
Being part of the group is exciting, and learning from everyone's experiences and contributing along the way is too.

Feel free to say hi or ask me anything

Thanks, Silverman
