On Tirz I dealt with awful sulfur burps. Right now I'm thinking about making the change to Reta. Based on what I've come across, tirz does a better job at suppressing appetite. A bit of help there would be good, but what I really need is whatever works best for losing weight and easing joint pain. My joints are the main reason I want to drop weight. I broke my patella and it healed improperly. Even a short walk hurts. My hope is that losing some weight will relieve pressure on the knee and let me move around more. I'm not expecting a miracle. I've already done the work to change poor eating patterns. I have PCOS and insulin resistance. Has anyone here moved from tirz to reta over side effects? Are your side effects now the same, different, or gone?

Arthritis in my hand eased up on Reta, and the same for my wife. A welcome side effect.

On reta, they were quite severe for me until my dose reached 4mg. Tirz is something I have no experience with.
