Hello, Shelly here, 20, and I've been lurking on GLP forums. An introduction finally felt worth making. Being 20, weight has been a struggle my whole life. Basically born fat (no kidding). Bullying came at me from outside the home and inside it. 2 dieticans have been in my life, yet the weight never came off lol. Growing up and understanding that losing weight isn't only greens and running in circles - being in a calorie deficit is simply what it is - is when some weight finally dropped. In total 18kg was lost, but unfortunately plateuing started and lasted months. Being quite short (for my country) meant cutting calories further to break the plateau was incredibely hard. Despite this the attempt continued, and break the plataeu it would not. 'Resetting' my metabolism by bringing calories up was even tried, and it did not work. A study abroad followed in a different country, where a bit too much fun was had and 10 kg came back on. Peptides were therefore the thing to try once the study abroad finished. In a month and a week, 9kg has already come off on them, and I completely love them!! An easy way out is probably what people think it is - genuinely doesn't concern me; understanding what being fat actually feels like, and the life that comes with it, is beyond those people. Sorry if my English is not great, I did not proof read this. Anyway, hopefully that gives some insight into who I am 🫡
