Semax vs Adamax vs P021

these 3 appear to be the main heavy hitters. Has anyone here actually run all 3? If so, I'd like to hear how each one went for you.

With Semax there is a large body of russian research behind it, plus a long track record of use. The safety profile looks fine.

As for Adamax, I turned up no research whatsoever. It is essentially all theoretical. “Should be stronger,” “Should bemore bioavailable,” “Should provide better blood-brain barrier penetration”. None of that has been clinically proven in humans or animals. I would be glad to be shown I'm wrong.

P021 does have a mouse study. It raised markers like BDNF and lowered certain Alzheimer markers. That counts for something, I suppose, but there is nothing in humans.

I want qualitative accounts, since the price gap is substantial.

Take a look at this:

I've run several rounds of Semax, NA, Semax, and Adamax, and about 7 days ago I began P21. Take the advice given earlier and begin with Semax to gauge your reaction. All 3 of those are Semax derivatives, whereas P21 works differently. P21 belongs to the same family as Cerebrolysin (an amino group subset) and helps restore brain signalling pathways through neurogenesis stimulation and cognitive enhancement. For both genuine Adamax and P21, an Adamantane group is attached, and it must be present to boost bioavailability and extend duration. P21 lacking Adamantane is sludge—that's a technical term—yet vendors do sell it.

that's interesting

so does that mean every vendor out there is offering P21 in a form that won't actually be bioavailable? or am I getting that wrong

also, were you able to notice any difference between Semax, NA, Semax and Adamax?

The majority of suppliers offer P21, and a portion of them also carry a version where P21 is bound to Adamantane. P21 on its own has no practical value. It is unable to cross the BBB, and even when administered IN, enzymes will break down most of it. This is why a kit costs somewhere between $80 and $300 — manufacturing it with Adamantane is pricier.

As for the Semax variants, I can indeed distinguish between each one. The standard form stays active for 2-3 hours, NA for 3-5 hours, and Adamax for 8-10 hours. My personal routine involves the base and NA forms at 1 mg taken IN, while Adamax is used at 300-500 mcg via SQ.

Additionally, this forum hosts multiple discussions containing further RS accounts.

Ada (subQ) gave me very vivid dreams & sharp memory. I ended up nailing all of my schoolwork.

If you're not in school or prepping for a licensing exam etc. I don't see the point of semax v ada IMO the promises of long-term structural brain benefits isn't convincing to me. p21 I haven't look into it since it's so cost prohibitive for me and was thinking of trying cerebrolysin (not the name brand the protein mix ofc) since it's cheaper as a trial run.

I think the first question you need to ask yourself is what are your goals? What is your current brain/mental situation you're trying to address?

A question that's connected: how do folks here view IN versus SubQ Adamax, and what have their own experiences been like?

I picked up a P-21 kit from Uther, paying $240. There's no reference to Adamantane anywhere, and the test report only lists P-21. Hmmm.

From what I gather, Jano labels a compound P-21 only when the adamantane group is present. If that group is missing, the COA would presumably read “not P21” or similar, since the molecular weight differs without it—and in his view, a product lacking the correct MW or the adamantane group doesn’t qualify as P21.

Dos-Dox has it right, and that works for me.

What about how sleep is affected by Semax, NA, Semax, and Adamax?
For me, Semax is off-limits past 2pm, while Adamax gets cut off at 10 am. You can expect it to last around 8-10 hours, yet my sleep has never been disturbed by it—it simply fades out smoothly. There's no crash or anything like that.

Adamax hasn't been used by me through IN so far. Since Semax works well on me, my guess is that the fast onset would feel like a rocket ride. It ramps up a lot faster. My use is for work-related concentration and focus, and SQ does the job nicely there. A few RSs go the IN route with it, and next cycle I might give it a shot at 200-250 mcg.

Semax and Adamax did nothing for me, honestly. Based on what I've been seeing, Adamax seems very hit-or-miss, and given what it costs, is it actually worth giving a shot? I simply have no self-control, though in this case I wish I did. 🤔 I've got p21 in my freezer, waiting to be used after Pinealon. And like the other person mentioned, if Jano labels it as p21, that ought to mean the weight is right.

Hey, what's the status on your p21 trial? I'm interested in exploring additional nootropic peptides. So far I've stuck with plain semax, and the outcomes have ranged from solid to underwhelming. Adamax is something I want to test, along with P21 and p22 and the others. If anyone can weigh in on whether these are worth the effort, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance

For these, I stick with subq. The main factor is my job — I'm after effects that stick around longer and reach more of the body. IN delivers a strong punch, but it fades quickly. To use a wrestling comparison (WWF, or the very early WWE days), IN is like Sweet Chin Music from HBK. Subq is more like Kurt Angle's ankle lock — a sustained hold. One lands a big hit and puts someone down briefly; the other works well over a longer stretch and does more for me overall. There's a slight long-term lift in mood, mental endurance, memory retrieval, and oddly enough, I find words come to me faster while talking. My speaking ability, particularly on the job or in front of a group, is terrible.

Also, this is just my own experience... I noticed some hair shedding/thinning while using IN. Whether it was BDNF spikes or something else, I can't say... It could have been another factor — stress, a bad diet around that time. It may not affect you at all. But it did affect me. I haven't been able to locate any evidence or solid research on this for you, though. With subq, I didn't see any shedding.

My first 7 days with P21 are now behind me. I intend to write up a summary of my observations up to this point, along with the studies I've been reading. So far, I'm a fan. When it comes to the cognitive effects, this one stands apart from every other peptide I've experimented with. A second kit is already in my possession, so I'll be running it for the foreseeable future. There's also talk of it pairing well with Adamax, and that makes sense to me. My Adamax run just ended, so at the moment I'm letting things clear out.

PE-22-28 is now on order as well, and I'm eager to see what that does. Since it was part of a GB, though, delivery won't be soon.

What's your p21 regimen, and what do you intend to do for pe22?

I'm eager to hear what you've been through; there's very little anecdotal information out there about p21
