Hey everyone, I want to tell you about something that happened today. There are quite a few folks here who aren't convinced that Semax, Selank, and 5-Amino-1MQ do anything. So let me share my experience. First, though, here's the stack I'm running: 2 mg reta every 3.5 days, along with:

Semax 500 mcg 1×

Selank 250 mcg 1×

5-Amino-1MQ 5 mg 2×

My day kicked off at 5 a.m. I had animals to deal with first—feeding and tending to them. That took until 8:30. Next came outdoor cleanup under a scorching sun. Then a meeting: 3.5 hours of nothing but stress—talking, disagreeing, absolute hell. All of it outdoors in the heat, and genuinely tough. I hadn't eaten since 17:00 the previous day, so when the meeting began I was already 17 hours fasted. When it wrapped up, that number had reached 20.5 hours.

Thanks to Semax, I stayed locked in and spoke up more. Selank stopped me from spiraling into overthinking.

One more thing worth bringing up. Brain enhancement has always been my thing, and I've taken a medication called Vigil/Modafinil in the past. The most recent time was a "test" presentation—way less pressure than today. Nothing was graded, only pass or fail, and failing would have required everything to go wrong. I dosed Vigil beforehand, and mid-presentation I broke into sweat with my heart rate spiking like a rocket. I could hardly get words out. Not a good time.

With Semax, though, everything went smoothly. No overstimulation—just calm and focused

Were all of them injected subcutaneously? I've got a lot of curiosity about these 3

For the 5amino, was bac the only thing you used to recon it? The ISRs I got were so bad that I stopped subq and moved to oral. Do your subq 5AMQ shots go without problems?

Yeah, both of them go in subcutaneously for me. Sure, I'm aware Semax and Selank can be taken intranasally too, but that route never appealed to me. Pinning is just my preference over snorting.

For 50mg of 5AMQ I mix in 3ml BAC, and so far no issues. I'm on my 7th vial right now. The first 4 vials I did with a standard syringe, then for the last 3 I moved to a Gansulin Pen.

Something else came up today. The anxiety has already disappeared, as I said earlier. But while I was sitting in a parking lot, I sensed a touch on my leg. A giant spider was there when I glanced down. My usual reaction would have been to remove it as quickly as I could—simply brush it off with my hand.

This time, though, I stayed calm, stepped out of the car with the spider still on my leg, and flicked it away only once I was outside. It was a completely rational, matter-of-fact choice—no adrenaline or cortisol spike. And this was one of those fat house spiders, not the kind with thin, long legs and a small body.

I treated it as though nothing unusual were happening. Only an hour afterward did it register that I had done that.

What's the basis for the 5 amino 1mq dosing people are using? Mouse research uses at least 32mg/kg/day. Depending on the conversion method used for translating that dose to humans, it would come out to hundreds or even thousands of mg each day for a person. Is there human data out there that AI isn't aware of?

To start with, mouse results can't simply be applied to humans at a 1:1 ratio. A HED is required. For someone weighing 80-100kg, that works out to roughly 200mg/day.

On top of that, human trials don't exist, which means those of us using it are essentially guinea pigs.

On most sites, the suggested dose is even below 1mg / Day. I looked into what others take orally and translated that to sq. For me, 10mg/day seemed sensible.

And it does work. Roughly 2 weeks back, my final AMQ Vial ran out, and I was aware the shipment from china would arrive this week. So instead of picking some up locally, I chose to hold off. What followed was a severe crash that left me in my bad all day long. That tells me AMQ is doing something.

I'm planning to include AMQ via subq. From what I've read so far, does 1mg per day with a 5 on 2 off schedule sound like a reasonable place to begin? I'm somewhat new to this and taking my time to build up my stack. 🙂

1mg seems like a reasonable dose to begin with. As for the 5/2 schedule, that's something you'll need to work out for yourself. It comes down to how your body responds. In my case, that approach didn't suit me — roughly 24h after stopping AMQ, I hit a crash. You know how it goes: once you're accustomed to the added energy, its absence hits you hard.

Nervous that I would be a non-responder — is it worth trying?
5-Amino-1MQ is a staple in my stack and I refuse to go without it. Honestly, right now you're looking at 100$ for 10 vials at 50mg. That's a gamble worth taking.

My routine has always been 5mg with a 5/2 split, stacked with reta, and the fat loss results were excellent

Appreciate the tip 🙂 I'll kick things off at 1mg and then check how it treats me.

What kind of effects have you noticed? I'm well informed about what semax and selank typically do, but I've never come across anyone's firsthand account with AMQ

What it gives me is drive and energy. Here's a way to picture it. There are three dogs in my house, and I enjoy walking one of them down the promenade. The way I used to do it: after the walk, once 1.5 hours had passed and I was home, all I wanted was a shower and then to lie down for a minimum of a couple of hours.

On AMQ, I found myself heading out to the promenade far more frequently. Once there, I'd chat up the girls, I tacked on one more segment to our loop, and being outdoors genuinely felt good. Then, back at home, I'd take my seat at the desk and get another couple of hours of work done.

Appreciate you posting this. I've used all 3 of those compounds myself, and NA Semax and NA Selank didn't produce much of an effect for me, so I'm wondering if the same upsides would show up from 5-Amino-1MQ alone.

My experience on NA Semax and NA Selank

Right now I'm at 25 mg of 5-Amino-1MQ daily, though my honest sense is that a (much) larger dose would sit fine with me. The clean energy lift is something I genuinely like, and this is one of the compounds I can picture staying in my rotation over the long term.
