Hi everyone! A 31-year-old female, currently using compounded tirzepatide. The journey began at 241.4 lbs on January 13, 2025. Adrenal PCOS is something I have, which has made losing weight extremely challenging.
The year before tirzepatide began, everything I had was truly given — a personal trainer was hired, a structured diet was followed, and consistency was maintained. After 8 months of hard work, only 15 lbs had come off. Discouraging is the word, especially because fitness wasn't new to me. The U.S. Navy took 4 years of my life, so discipline and training aren't unfamiliar.
Being stuck despite "all the right things" being done led me to look into GLP-1 medications as extra support. In 2025, with compounded tirzepatide doing its part, 60 lbs came off. Energy went up, joint pain improved significantly, and confidence came back that hadn't been felt in a long time.
192 lbs at 5'6" is where I am now, with a goal sitting between 150–160 lbs — so some work remains. Much more comfortable in my body is how I feel, but a noticeable amount of muscle mass did go, and skin tightness has gone too.
An expensive journey it has been, but worth it absolutely. The focus now is rebuilding muscle, improving skin elasticity, and eventually working out what maintenance looks like once goal weight arrives.
Learning from everyone's experiences and continuing to grow in this next phase is something I'm really excited about!
