Im seeing issues with the R10 light blue caps from multiple vendors. Anyone else have that batch and is it possible that they are from the same factory and that batch is probably compromised?

Batch number? ( is that ok to post? )

Like who? I know a ton that have R10. BFF has it and runs blue caps, but I've never seen a major issue with his stuff. There was a stinging thing or something a while back, but that was fixed. I have a 100 vials of BFF, no R10 though.

Sorry, I should have clarified. Its the light blue clear caps. The solid blue caps are fine (based on my experience)

I saw where some clear light blue cap R10 was clouding with vendor BAC, but reconned clear with Hospira...

I tried both with Vendor and Hospira. The vendor BAC was terrible but the Hospira wasnt super clear either. For comparison I also reconstituted some R20 vials and those were very clear.

I reconstituted 4 R10's and 2 was very cloudy and 2 were slightly cloudy (1 vendor, 3 hospira).

I reconstituted 2 R20 and both were very clear (1 vendor, 1 hospira).

These have been around for at least 24 months from countless vendors. Just find it funny how they keep popping up from time to time.

All my previous R10's were solid blue caps. Its the ones I received in May-June that had the clear light blue caps.

I’m currently using a clear blue but I don’t know if it’s light blue or dark blue lol

“My guy” did a test on it and it came back 99.64

I'm currently using the light blue cap R10. It did funky things with being cloudy then clear then cloudy again with the vendor supplied BAC. PBS worked temporarily to clear before it went cloudy again? Hospira has worked fine. I didn't filter this last vial and it still came out clear. Effects are as expected.

It does seem like something may be slightly off with these but it doesn't seem to cause a problem other than being a bit stubborn about going fully into solution. Vendor BAC tested as same ph but definitely didn't work as well so no idea what's going on there.

Barn/XTP has R10s like that. They tested at 89% purity and the vendors have agreed to refund customers. They may not be the only ones selling it. There is also a testing group under way. The post, picture and COA have been publicly posted.

Edit: Barn have been booted from STG. XTP was prior to today.

Do you mean, where is the Batch # located?

No I was curious if it originates at the factory or at the testing site. The batch I posted above has a different number. It appears to be the same cap but the place I go to had great test results. I see a lot of posts with certain cap colors mentioned but batch numbers would be more accurate wouldn’t it? Just curious, I am new here so I’m just trying to learn how things work.

It was from another vendor but I also have 2 kits arriving from Barn. It was too late when I saw all the posts about it. The other vendor did agree to give me a full refund/replacement on the kit.

Some vendors are strict about batch numbers and that makes them useful. Other vendors say they use them, but then recycle the same ones over and over making them nearly meaningless.

Most don't have batch numbers at all, so you can try to use cap color. Except that can change any time, run out mid-batch, or even not be the color a vendor wants to use, so it's inconsistent and not completely accurate, but sometimes that's all there is. There have also been issues that have spanned multiple cap colors.

That leaves testing as the only sure way to know exactly what you're getting, whether you do it, some of the group does it and shares, or you join a group that does it and pitch in. There are testing groups on the interwebs and they matter more than ever these days.
