Rosacea flare on pinning day?

I’m two shots into my Reta journey, and both times, my rosacea flared hot and red on shot day. And I mean HOT. Like, if Santa saw me he’d be all “Actually, YOU should be the one to guide my sleigh from now on."

So, my fellow shiny lobsters out there: Is this a common thing with Reta and/or other peps? Or am I the only one? Does it get better over time? Any tips for mitigating the magenta monster?

My wife has Rosacea that reacts to a lot of different things. However, Reta has not been one of them. She has been using Reta for more than 6 weeks with no flare-ups post shot.
