Hey all,

Happy to join. Since September I've been on Mounjaro.

At the moment I'm taking Mounjaro 10mg, but I had no idea it was possible to get it "cheaper" or simply as Triz. I also came across Reta?! I still need to look into how a person moves from triz over to reta!

A little background on me: I was always chubby and had no clue what to eat.

About 2 years back I weighed 140 kgs, and the wake-up call came when I developed erectile dysfunction and sleep apnoea. I dropped weight through diet, but then it came back. After that a doctor suggested mounjaro and that brings me to now, almost -40 kg.

I've also been hitting the gym for a year.

What I’ve noticed most when comparing tirzepatide with retatrutide (I take microdoses) is this: on reta, the pounds come off even though I’m eating exactly the same amount of calories as I did before. Retatrutide was what I began with, and at 0.5 mg each week my calorie intake stayed completely unchanged, but I still dropped 5 kg within a single month.

Later on, I brought tirzepatide into the mix, since I’d come across plenty of information about what it might do for inflammation, which could be useful for lipedema. My starting dose was low, 1 mg weekly, yet it was far harder for me to handle. My appetite dropped a lot, and I ended up moving my doses apart to every 10 days, because I was worried about losing muscle mass.
