This study involves 2 lab animals that began RETA roughly 6 weeks back. They kicked off at a low dose (.5) and increased each week during the initial 4 weeks, though at somewhat different rates. The male stayed at .5 for 2 weeks, whereas the female moved up a bit quicker.

Male schedule week by week - .5, .5, 1.5, 2, 2, 2 mg. Began at 184 lbs, 5’5”, hits the gym regularly but is a fan of tacos!

Female schedule - .5, 1.5, 2, 2, 2, 2.5 mg. She started at 205 lbs, 5.4”. Has been training alongside the male since Aug 2025 but the scale hasn't budged much.

Right now the male is 175 and the female is 194 after 6 weeks on RETA with the same workout routine, so the weight is beginning to drop.

Reta observations: the vials contain 20mg and we received 2 kits. The first vial was used up this week. The clearest difference for the subjects has been less food noise and fewer hunger cues. The male remained at the lower dose due to experiencing some gastrointestinal issues and burping; sleep was also a bit disrupted

Nice work on the progress! In the reta trials, women lost more weight than men, and people who had a larger % of weight to lose also saw better results. So those things are likely what caused your female lab animal to drop 2 more lbs, not the titration. The titration schedules are nearly identical, so I doubt that’s what made the small difference. Then again, it might just be your male animal’s taco habit 😂.

Nice work, both of you(r lab animals)!

For the two of them, that titration moved fast. Are you planning to hold at a lower/maintenance dose, ease the pace, or keep increasing until the max trial dose?

Yeah, I figure we'll keep it at 2 to 3 over the long(er) haul. Once you're at 2mg, hitting your protein and food targets becomes a chore, so I don't want to push it and make eating feel forced. It isn't exactly nausea—more like that full-up sensation plus the GI stuff and burping it brings on. The first 3 weeks were odd: injection night came with some sweating and feeling sleepy overall for a day or 2 afterward, though that eased off over the last 2 weeks. Around week 3, when we moved to 1.5, there was a clear signal that the lady was basically "meh I feel fine at 2mg," so I suppose it varies person to person. After her most recent 2.5 dose, she brought up the obvious burping, which is what hit me during week 2 at .5 as it built up in the system.

The male is aiming for more body recomposition and wants to hover around 160 to 165 or so. At this rate I doubt that takes much longer, and he might just run it in cycles every 2 to 4 months at a lower dose. The lady is looking to shed another 50 to 60, so hers will be the longer road, but provided the loss keeps coming at 1 to 2 lbs per week she'll remain at the 2.5 to 3 mg dose, stepping up by half increments only if necessary.

The idea of reaching the highest dose used in trials (12mg, correct?) makes me uneasy. 😂

I'll let the female decide the amount she can handle, but the messages I give her are that upping the dose won't lead to improved outcomes, and I'll watch to ensure she isn't losing excessive muscle. Should she begin skipping workouts and / or show signs of weakening, I'll step in and guide her as needed 😅

This forum does not condone animal cruelty. Kindly restrict your experiments to human subjects. 😉
