Reta powder left in hot sun

No need for concern, since plenty of peptides get stored in even worse environments. Warehouses in China are both hot and humid, and large suppliers hold so much inventory that refrigeration isn't possible.

Yesterday you posed this same question in Public Square. Were the replies you got not to your liking?

Since it's already freeze dried, there's no problem. If it were ono-a botox, which has to stay refrigerated, then I'd be somewhat more concerned.

Actually, those posts came 10-15 min apart. They both appeared in new posts simultaneously-

Strange thing to do unless someone's chasing post count.. heh

Well shoot, you've got a point. I checked just now — 1:13 and 1:19.

How much the powder degrades hinges on its residual moisture, which usually sits between 0.5-3%. Under those conditions the reactions slow considerably, yet they do not stop: deamidation proceeds quickly near 37°C across several days, while peptide bond hydrolysis kicks in from 45°C upward. Over a span of two hours the reaction is not completely absent — likely only a few percent. Confirming this would call for an MS test, though that method destroys the sample and so has no practical value. Given that most vials carry a 10-20% overfill, we stay inside the margin of uncertainty.

As I said in the other thread: if it's hot enough to cook an egg, it's fully cooked. (around 54°C-60°C)
