Reta joint and muscle pain

I appreciate the reminder and will bring it up with my doctor. I had assumed my skin was doing fine and hadn't considered that it might be thinning, so that's a helpful thought I honestly hadn't thought of.

It's a relief to think this might not be connected to the peptide.

Thank you all.
I agree — that's what I'm leaning toward as well now, and you clearly have a good handle on this.

Oh, I'm aware. The problem was that I couldn't name the vendor in my post, so I had to edit it while posting, and I didn't want anyone claiming I have a bad vendor (even though I realize they can still receive and sell bad batches too). Yes, I've reviewed the COAs and I do filter.

I also found it strange that Reta might cause inflammation and joint pain; it appears to do the opposite, particularly by protecting and growing cartilage and helping with many immune diseases. Still, I came across a few people who reported having it, and it shows up on AI, but I can't tell whether what they went through matches what I'm going through. That's what led me to post. It would be an idiosyncratic reaction, so something rare, like an abnormal immune response to the drug, another peptide, or something else in the vials. It seems motsc may have more individual reports of joint pain. But there's so much going on that I may never figure it out, and I really hope it goes away.
Do your joints show any swelling or redness, or is it pain only? Any fever, feeling unwell, rash, or travel? If swelling is visible, I'd advise seeing your doctor sooner rather than later — I'm not sure how long the wait will be, since it said you had made an appointment. It would help to know your ESR and CRP (inflammatory blood test markers).

Your thinking on this seems to be heading in the right direction. I clearly don't have nearly enough information to even begin guessing at possible causes, but the leading possibility is that it has nothing to do with the peptides and is some arthralgia or arthritis process, or alternatively an unusual idiosyncratic reaction to one of the peptides. I'm not aware of any case reports of arthritis-type reactions to GLP drugs, but they can trigger a very large number of different rare rashes, so joint problems are conceivable given that the immune processes involved may be similar.

Have you put this question to an AI? I thought chatgpt in research/scholar mode was quite good for less common medical diagnoses. The peptides that commonly cause joint pain are HGH and the various secretagogues, but I couldn't see those in the list of what you had been using. It is definitely worth considering stopping everything until you have some answers, really just to rule them out as a possible cause.

I've been wondering the same thing. Muscle pain has been an issue for me, along with soreness in my foot arches. Reta was started 3 weeks ago, and Epitalon 3 days ago — though the pain was already there before the Epitalon. I looked over the COAs and everything checks out, and I keep myself well hydrated.

About a month into reta, I started getting pain in my foot too — strange, but these days it has largely cleared up. That said, I hike quite a bit and cover plenty of rocky ground, so perhaps that was the cause all along.
