I have 10 lbs left to loose and I've been of sema and tirz for a few years now. I've been stuck at my current weight for almost a year. Do you think it's worth making the switch or should I try upping what I'm on? I know reta is strong but it also has more side effects to be aware of. edit: did you have any concerning side effects that you didn't get with the other two?

What's your 'deets'....What are your current doses...and how often do you take them, 7 days, 5 days, split dose?

I switch back and forth, I'm trying not to get too use to either. I switch about every 3 months . On Sema I was on 2mg. On triz, I'm generally between 10 and 12. I'm normally a one shot a week person but occasionally I'll break it up if I feel like I need. I try to stay just below max dose.

I think this might be your issue.

The "getting use to" might actually help you, as it means it is working.

I have not seen any evidence that people gain a tolerance and many people are able to reduce in maintenance.

What does seem to be an issue is stopping and starting again and it impacting the efficacy of the GLP1.

If you only made it to 12mg Tirz it would make sense to titrate up to a higher dose.

The first trials went to 15mg and now they are studying 25mg+

I do not know where you started, how much you have lost, or how long this has been going on, but on the surface it appears your best bet is to titrate up and if needed stack sema at a very low dose (some have had success with the stack)

Personally I followed the protocol and was able to lose about 27% in 7 months to hit my goal weight.
