Hello all. My GLP run began in early March, following roughly a year spent on the fence about whether to give it a go. Across a wide range of topics this forum has been enormously helpful, and I'm grateful for how much everyone puts in. The goal is serious fat loss with some body recomp. 33-year-old male, desk job, though I stay active once I'm home. Weight cuts for sports when I was younger were brutal, and they turned me into a binge eater. Better discipline would be nice, yet each time I locked into a diet for 6-8 months the pattern repeated: 10-12 pounds down, then weeks of nothing, my energy and my interest in counting calories both gone, workouts abandoned, the weight back on, and the same cycle again once 4 months of feeling like a burnt-out bum had gone by. Over the past 5 years my weight has swung from 185ish to 170ish and back. So I decided to treat Reta as a tool. In early March I weighed 183.6; today I'm at 163.4. I started on 0.5mg and built up to 2mg over the last 5 weeks. Food noise is down. Hunger still shows up sometimes, but nothing like before. No binges at all, and no cravings for anything sweet. It shows clearly in my legs and face, which is great. Strength has held: I work out 3-4 days a week, get 130-150g protein daily, and walk a minimum of 10k steps a day. Getting 6 days in at the gym is the aim, though waking up early enough has been a real struggle these past few weeks. For the last ten+ years I've already felt exhausted, with brain fog, spells of no motivation, and a tendency to nod off in meetings. None of that seems to be improving on the Reta. Semax/Selank and NAD+ are on my radar for energy. Test levels came in at 400 — low end, though not something I want to start pinning at my age. Staying at 2mg Reta for a few more weeks is most likely, since there's no reason to increase right now.
