Hello! Obviously, I'm new here lol. This community only came to my attention about two days back and joining happened today. Knowing about it two years ago, when my first GLP-1 journey began, would have been nice. Name brand tirz was what I took back then, and 65lbs came off across 5 months. Before moving across the country I had titrated up to 12.5mg, and the move cost me access, since the insurance wasn't the same. Staying off it was the outcome, even though more weight still needed to go, because my husband and I were trying for a baby regardless. Well, it worked, and now we have an almost 8 month old. All the weight came back during pregnancy (before conceiving I was maintaining and even still losing a little, albeit more slowly).

Now that breastfeeding is done (supply has been a struggle and is dwindling on its own), the journey has restarted. Week two actually starts today for me. This time the lowest effective dose is where I'll stay. Last time I automatically went up each month because that's what the providers advise, and knowing to stick to the lowest dose that works is something I wish I'd known. My hope now is that my body responds again at a lower dose, given I've been on it before. PCOS is also in the picture, which makes losing weight consistently difficult on my own, and tirz really helped with my labs last time. Anyways, happy to be here and looking forward to participating in the discussions.
