someone I know is relocating to Europe with spouse and they are both on Rx Zep. Planning for the move, they have been spreading out doses to build a little pile. They also just signed up for a 3 month compound special so that they will have about 5 months each (and they actually really do both need these meds.. they are lifesaving for them).
They wanted that buffer knowing it may take time to get into the new country's healthcare and (hopefully) be able to get their meds. They are not wild party animals, just two retired Americans who are actually moving because the cost of healthcare here is just too high for them to sustain.
Will they have trouble bringing the meds. I told them they should get a letter from doc, but they think the Rx receipts are enough. I think it's a risk. Not that they will get in trouble, but some of the quantity may be taken?? Thoughts?
