Hi,

41/F, writing from Texas. Sport has been my whole life, right up to competing professionally. For the better part of 2 decades now I've kept up the routine — training, eating clean, and supplementing with the usual OTC things (whey, creatine, omega 3s, adaptogens and so on).

Lately, naturally, peptides keep coming up. Back then I never paid them much mind — I was in the USADA testing pool and they were off limits to me. Retirement came 3 years ago, and the shift in how I recover has become really obvious.

glp-1 may be the focus here, but apparently every peptide is fair game for discussion. Losing weight or adding muscle isn't what drives me — recovery and athletic performance are. Being able to train the way I once did, without waking up feeling like a bus ran me over, is the aim.

Sleep is another front: I wake at the slightest thing, and I'd like to see if that can be improved. And as a woman getting older, the skin and hair upside from peptides like Ghk-cu certainly appeals.

Looking forward to learning from everyone and following the journeys here.
