Rage on Tesa?

Hi!

I (F43) was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

Decided to take Tesa alongside my reta and after a week I experienced what I can only describe as complete rage and anger. So unlike me! I felt like I couldn't control it. I feel like my hormones were completely messed up.

Stopped taking the Tesa straight away and the problem went away.

Curious if Ipa would have a similar effect? I've heard that it's not as strong as Tesa but I am afraid for my family if I get the bad grumps again hehe

Would love to hear any experiences from those more knowledgeable than myself.

likely it is from something that is derivative. Like comment above, tesa screwing up sleep, then irritable or rage. Varying the Igf level doesn’t seem to cause “rage”. For me, whiskey or more broadly dark liquor could me rage. 30 years ago, jacking up test levels could make me irritable. Mucking with Igf levels, I just don’t see a direct connection
 
Thank you both so much for your insightful answers. I am very nervous to try it again (or even Ipa) as it was scary not feeling in control of my anger.

It was some time ago so I can't recall perfectly, but you could both be right in that it was more from a lack of sleep or other issue.

You often hear that peptides which stimulate growth hormone secretion and low doses of growth hormone improve sleep...

It works a treat for me. CjC+1295 with Ipamorelin, taken just before bed, at least 2 hours after my last meal. It deepens and prolongs my sleep.

I’d recommend giving it a go instead of Tesamorelin.
 
The regulation of growth hormone secretion is complex , with many different brain chemicals affecting it including GHRH, somatostatin and prolactin releasing hormone plus probably a dozen others. If I had to guess it is some secondary effect from one of those other neurotransmitters/neuromodulators being affected by the increased growth hormone that then has effects on mood. Not that I could hazard a guess at an exact mechanism. There is a lot of individual genetic variation in receptor sequences, so it is possible to have unusual or uncommon responses to neurochemical signals. Probably safer to avoid it if you get an unusual response to it.

Yes, I think I am well to steer clear of this one unfortunately. Very disappointed as my husband has had amazing results with it, but I value my family too much to put up with me in a bad mood ◡̈

I did not experience any side effects like that with Ipa and Ipa+Cjc1295 No Dac stack has improved much better sleep quality than I ever had before.

I am tempted to try that one as my sleep quality could definitely improve! Thanks for sharing your experience.
