I agree. That's why I don't think we should make a "guide". That's why when I mentioned a guide being created, I followed it up with how Zippity shot it down and how I agree with his decision to do so. I do not want a beginner's guide to peptides. I am suggesting an organized area where different members can have threads on how they did "protocol x" or whatever and can follow up with their specific evidence of its efficacy or not. Like how Birdwhacker has been making posts about trying different compounds and how it works or doesn't for him. Yes, a bunch of members already do this in the various different sections of the site, and yes using the search button for something specific will turn up specific results. But you don't know what you don't know. And it is kind of hard to search for something you don't know about. But if there were a section with just threads of people sharing their experiences, it can be a place of better learning for newcomers or even existing members with things they aren't familiar with yet.
I had to do research just to get here in the first place (and boy am I glad I did). It isn't like GLP1Chat is the first stop for anyone wanting to get grey market peps. If people aren't going to do research, then they aren't going to do research (and hopefully keep their asses on tiktok or reddit). And if complete newbs having access to the information is the concern, then add the section I am suggesting to the NSD rule we already have. Don't let them have access to the section until they have been in the forum long enough and proven themselves worthy as we already do with newbs.
My goal with this suggestion is not to make the information easier. It is to make it quicker. I still want people to do their own research. I want them to be able to do said research faster. If I were interested in "peptide x" and I go into this theoretical section and there are 7 different threads from 7 different users about how they specifically use(d) peptide x, I still have to read those threads and make a personal judgement call on which one (if any) I am going to follow. I agree that we pretty much already do this on this site quite often. I am suggesting we take what we have and reorganize it a bit so all of this good info is in a location where you don't have to slog through pages of other unrelated stuff to get to.
Since tone can be hard to communicate through text, I want to say that I appreciate everyone who has responded to this thread so far. This is exactly the kind of discourse I want to have about it. If it isn't a good idea then it shouldn't be implemented. And the more everyone is weighing in, the more I am seeing that the community doesn't really seem to want it. That is A-OK by me.
TLDR: I still think it is a potentially viable idea, but I see that the majority of the members responding disagree with me and this is a community not Pocket's world. So I am perfectly ok with my idea not being a good one. Love y'all all that much more for entertaining my idea and helping out. Stay awesome everyone.
