One thing I've been trying to figure out is how people handle protein when their appetite drops on a GLP-1.

I normally don't have much trouble hitting my protein target, but I can see it getting harder on days when I just don't feel like eating much.

Do you guys change what foods you eat to make getting enough protein easier, or just stick with your normal meals?

I'm on the extreme end here, as I'm on the carnivore diet. But most would agree, change your diet. Eat all your protien before you eat anything else. If you don't, you may not get enough. Lossing muscle on these medications is VERY COMMON. add wight bearing exercise as well.

When I was losing, I was pretty much just doing protein powder and 20g per serving yogurt in the morning, protein bar around lunch and chicken or pork at night...it didn't add up to a lot of grams, but seemed to get me from A to B...

Protein first, I agree. I try to find ways to slip it in to my daily plan.

I dropped plant milk from my coffee and use a protein shake (not a whole one).

This is what I do too. I'm not carnivore as I still have some carbs but I'm definitely animal and dairy based. Eat my protein/fat first, if I have room then I'll have the carb.

I’m a broken record with this online and irl- go to Starbucks and get a “venti sugar free iced protein caramel latte with salted caramel cold foam”. Then if you fall completely enraptured as I did start making them at home using Fairlife skim and mix decaf and cold brew so you don’t OD. Makemcoldmfoam withn2% Fairlife. I’m on 3 or 4 a day. 15g of whey iso, 10 or so grams from the milk. Once per I add 10g more protein from collagen. It’s whole enough when mixed with the milk and whey. I’m getting 80-100g daily off of those. And one could easily add more whey to each . One stays nicely hydrated also

p.s try egg life noodles prepared some way and add in Kraft fat free mozzarella where appropriate. Impossible to beat the macros and both taste good if done with some culinary artistry

the struggle is real. My goal is 200g protein a day. Today I am finally titrating my tirz up too because I finally feel like eating. I prep most protein on the weekend. I don't want to lose any more muscle.

Most everyone will be fine if they hit 120, unless they’re sitting around all day. The majority with 120 plus a good 30 minute walk will lose healthy amount weight without risking muscle. This isn't a long term mindset obviously… just that you’re not hurting yourself on any given day by only doing this
