Hi everyone. The progress posts that tend to show up are usually about the unlucky situations where someone is injecting something like 60 mgs twice weekly and the stall still won't budge. It would be great if you could all chime in with some wins or encouraging updates when you have them. I'm too early in to have much to offer, other than that I'm roughly 3 weeks into switching from Tirz to Reta, and I feel genuinely good. I'm on 2mgs, and food noise is very manageable. My appetite is there, but I fill up quite quickly and remain satisfied for a long while. A couple of pounds have come off, though my bigger worry was gaining during the switch, and that didn't happen. I'm aware plenty of people don't see much weight loss until 4+ weeks, or even 8+ weeks.

So, for anyone who is making progress, getting close to their goals, and having reta quietly do its thing, share your story. What has been the game changer for you? What would you tell someone who is just starting out or stuck at a stall? What mistakes taught you something? That kind of thing.

Hey! My Reta journey began on 4 February 2026. Over that time, I've dropped more than 14kg. Starting weight: 78.8kg. Current weight: 64.1kg. Goal weight: 49kg.

At 0.5mg for my first shot, the effects showed up just 2 days later. Hunger dropped, food noise quieted, and bit by bit I began feeling full sooner. The following week I injected 1mg, and I believe I held that dose for 2 weeks, all while hunger, cravings, and satiety kept improving.

Then I moved up to 2mg, even though lower doses were still working, and that's when things went badly. I became so ill that eating even 500kcal in a day was a struggle. Nausea and vomiting were constant - merely catching a smell sent me rushing to the bathroom. I waited 7 days before injecting again and dropped back to 1.5mg, yet the misery dragged on for a full 3 weeks before easing, leaving me exhausted and weak.

Currently I'm on 2.5mg, still shedding weight quickly, with a small appetite and quick fullness. Reta is amazing and it's transforming my life, plus it's helping enormously with my PCOS 🙂

Reta has been really effective in my case. Adding a workout routine made a big difference, and once I'd dropped some size, I brought in Tesamorlin to target visceral fat. After I began exercising, others started mentioning how much weight I'd shed. In reality, the scale had barely moved. My guess is that muscle was being built at the same pace as fat was being lost. Those Tesla shots every night are wearing on me, so once this vial runs out, I'm stopping too—at least until I decide I need it again. For now, I'm continuing with Reta and exercise.

We began on 1/9/26 and as of Friday the total loss is 36lbs. The dosing went 2mg for 4weeks, then 4mg for 4weeks, and now it has been 6 weeks at 6mg, where I plan to remain for the time being since results are still coming. Nothing major to report aside from occasional heartburn, which shows up mostly on injection days. Appetite is clearly reduced, though that appears to have eased somewhat. Around a week back there were some sleep problems, but my guess is it was just my mind refusing to shut down. The past 3 days have been fairly good. A small plateau hit during the final 4mg doses, then I switched up to 6mg.

62M, used to be an athlete. My time on Reta has been an absolutely wild ride. I've shed over 60 pounds. The starting point was late December 2025. During the first 9 weeks, 40 pounds of inflammation disappeared. For years I'd followed Carnivore and could force my weight down to 220 pounds only through wretched 400 calorie days. The swelling, which came from disease, never went away though. And my life had been wrecked by the total energy collapse that came from undereating.

Now I'm 6 pounds away from my target of 190. When I looked at myself on my security cameras today, I could see I'm not fat!!! The moon-face from the Prednisone I take is gone. And I'm convinced my eyes aren't as squinty anymore.

My conditions:

Hashimoto's complete thyroid failure

Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency (complete failure of pituitary gland's ability to produce ACTH)

Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (like Lupus)

Possible Myasthenia Gravis, negative labs, but very drug responsive.

In a very real sense, Reta has given me my life back. Apart from Cholesterol and Triglycerides, my labs are no longer in the 'Danger Red' zone. My endocrinologist was very impressed.

Began on 2mg, sitting at 5 now, 65lbs down since October. 44/f, 205lb down to 140lbs. Reta is great.
