Just came across this headline out of Australia: Doctors fear possible contaminated counterfeit peptide batch after seventh case of acute liver damage - ABC News https://share.google/l0FN6FOwzcaFCMHck

Of course they don't make the statement definitive, but great argument to filter your peps. Any Aussies able to chime in on the story?

what exactly are the contaminants? the filter only works by the principles of particle size or if more advanced, solute - filter material adsorption. I doubt typical filters would achieve the latter.
 
It doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I test all my peps and of the 13 kits I have received since June just 3 of them have been what I ordered and ultimately safe to use. There is a big problem right now there is a lot of garbage out there and its not all visibly problematic. Quality control is nonexistent and clearly the vendors are struggling under the volume and just pushing it out regardless of whether its any good or not.

What has been the issue with your testing? (i.e. endos, m/p, wrong substance entirely, etc...?)

From same vendor we are both in a testing group with (that recently organized a bunch of retests for the 1400+ endo)?

Endos, Mass, Purity, wrong Pep, have seen it all. Its not one thing its all the things we test for.

I'm wondering the same thing about what exactly is the cause and whether a filter can catch them. At any rate, it's good practice to filter because there are things that can be caught in the filter. The article didn't go into any specifics, just speculation that some batch in Australia may be leading to the liver damage.

The only one of true concern for me is the Wrong Pep--how many kits have you had with the wrong Peps?
