Does anyone know of an adapter for the inner part of the roll? Some of the rolls on amazon have a much bigger inner diameter than the original and it's causing misfeeds. I'm hoping someone created a 3d printed one.

Thanks for that suggestion I'll give it a try.... I just made a spacer for the inside and it's still doing it, so it must be something else.AlexSilver said:
I’m so happy mine doesn’t have that problem. I have used numerous generic type labels, some with no inner core at all. Maybe you have this other issue…. Some times you have to lie to it about what type of label it is to make it feed right but, no problems. For instance for my generic clear ones, I have to lie and tell it that it’s gold foil in the same size, or it feeds to the middle of the label instead of the end.

Do you guys use continuous or cut label under settings for the rolls?AlexSilver said:
It has some thing to do with what it thinks the spacing between labels on that roll is. It's usually trial and error, If the one I think it is doesn't work, I just start at the top of the list of that size and start trying them. It doesn't matter what kind the actual label is (holo, white, clear, etc). It's just direct thermal labels, it prints all of them exactly the same.

If it's a shaped, sized, label then it's a cut label. Continuous is just one single really long label. (the whole roll is 1 label with no breaks)pepshi said:

Ah I see, thanks! I've tried everything and it still isn't working. I notice it looks like there is some kind of chip or sensor where the tape come out of. I'm wondering if the labels have something that is communicating with that.AlexSilver said:

Lol ok thanks that makes sense. Just ordered a different brand of labels that have good reviews for working with the D30.... we shall seeAlexSilver said:
That is the thermal chip that does the printing.
