Hey all! 👋

41/F here, writing from Perth, Australia.

My GLP-1 story began after I had my baby, when I was put on semaglutide. 20 kg came off, and I held that weight steady for roughly a year. Pharmacy stock problems kept cropping up, though, and Wegovy was just too expenno, so I didn't want to push my dose higher. In the end I quit completely, my progress flatlined, and a bit of weight found its way back.

Roughly 9 weeks ago I switched over to reta, and my partner chose to come along for the ride as well. 0.5 mg was my starting point, and I've slowly titrated up to 5 mg each week.

So far, close to 10 kg has come off. Side effects have been minimal — only fatigue, though tbh that's parenting plus peri plus low iron all rolled together. I'm keeping protein high, staying in a caloric deficit, and hoping to work resistance training into my routine before long.

There's still another 20–30 kg I want to shift, but I feel really confident I'll get there.

I'm only just dipping my toe into the world of grey, and it's become my latest fixation. I'm ready to pull the pin and work on building a little stash!😂

As an elder millennial, the crypto side of things is probably what makes me most anxious, but I'm learning so much from the experiences shared here and at STG.

I've been lurking for a while and absolutely love all the knowledge and advice everyone shares, so I thought it was finally time to introduce myself, and join in.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and learning from everyone's experiences!

Nice to meet someone else from Perth.

Happy you found your way here. There's so much to learn on this Forum, and it tends to avoid the nastiness you see on Reddit, plus it doesn't have the pushing and shady stuff that turns up in certain Facebook groups.

Hi, another Perth peri Mum here!

I've just made up my mind to begin Reta on my own, but honestly I'm clueless about how to go about it 🤪

It's genuinely great to hear how well you've done so far! Onya!

I've gotten equally obsessed with accumulating a stockpile. These peptides have completely turned my life around.
