Almost everyone in my circle is combining a GLP-1 with additional peptides to get weight loss and fat loss outcomes. What I want to find out is which peptides people use for these outcomes on their own, without any GLP-1, or whether the strongest outcomes come from pairing some peptide with a GLP-1?

The one I've kept using for fat loss is tirzepatide. It's been reliable for me on both fronts — appetite control and real weight coming off — so I've stayed with it instead of switching between options. Adding other peps for fat loss on top of that is a choice, not a requirement; for me, the biggest gains came from quieting food noise while keeping protein and training high.

Training plus protein - that's the foundation, no argument there.

But here's where I flip my own script lol - everything on my end is already locked in, diet and training both, and 7.5mg of tirz still leaves me a lot of room to move up, yet right now I'm getting set to run a tesamorelin cycle and then a 5-amino cycle on top.

On top of that, adding TRT alongside the GLP has changed everything for me.

SLU is something I'd genuinely love to test out, but honestly it intimidates me a bit lol.

Which GLP are you currently taking?...What dose are you on, and through which titration steps did you get to it?...Where do you stand in your weight loss 'journey'...starting weight...current weight....goal weight?

Your questions are about stacking something on top of your existing GLP for weight and fat loss. Has your progress stalled, or are you hoping to modify/boost what your current GLP is already doing? Do you want a standard GLP weight loss protocol, or are you aiming to pair weight loss with body enhancement/sculpting...low BMI type goals?

Many routes exist, and this site has plenty of sub-forums covering more specific information for whatever you may be trying to do..

Keeping that in mind, share a bit more about yourself...what are you wanting to do?... 🙂

From what I understand, aside from the GLP drugs and the amylin agonists, there aren't really any other peptides that produce fat loss or weight loss to any meaningful extent. Developing any drug that genuinely worked and wasn't toxic required roughly 40 years of fairly intensive research, so creating something that leads to weight loss is extremely difficult — largely because the body relies on about 20 or so separate but interconnected hormonal systems to regulate weight and appetite, and evolution has strongly safeguarded it against interference.

Growth hormone and secretagogues may shift the overall muscle-to-fat ratio somewhat, but they don't reduce total body weight, and they come with a good number of adverse effects too.

Tesofensine is one of the few compounds obtainable from China that has at least some evidence behind it for working and being relatively safe, though it isn't a peptide. Even so, many people have struggled to dial in the right dose, since it has a very long half-life and a fair number of side effects that tend to worsen considerably over time as it accumulates in the body. In a couple of studies, however, it did deliver around 10% weight loss. It is essentially an SNRI antidepressant, with added dopamine reuptake inhibition on top of serotonin and noradrenaline effects.
