Hi everyone 
I wanted to share something I’ve been working on lately because it might be useful or interesting to anyone in a similar situation.
I’ve had a few episodes of arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation in the past, so whenever I research a new peptide or compound, one thing matters a lot to me: what effect it could potentially have on the heart, heart rate, arrhythmias and cardiovascular health in general.
Over the last few days I’ve been having quite a long discussion with AI about many of the peptides we regularly talk about here. I asked it to compare them not only by their potential overall benefits — metabolism, body composition, inflammation, recovery, etc. — but also giving significant weight to compounds that, at least on paper, do not appear especially problematic from a cardiovascular point of view.
We eventually ended up putting together this Top 20 ranking, plus a second page covering some compounds I would be more cautious with.
I thought it was interesting to see everything together, so I’m sharing it here in case it can be a useful starting point for others.
This is obviously not medical advice, and it does not mean that any of these compounds treat or prevent heart problems.
In many cases the evidence is still very limited, and part of the ranking is based on theoretical mechanisms and the evidence currently available.
I’m actually very interested in hearing what you guys think.
If anyone here has a history of arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, tachycardia or other cardiovascular issues and has used any of these compounds, I’d really like to hear about your experience.
And if you think something is ranked too high, too low, or that I’ve missed an important compound altogether, please say so. I’m sure the collective experience here can improve the ranking quite a bit.
