Hey all 👋

I’m in Ireland 🇮🇪 and I run a lot — it’s a big part of my life. Peptides are completely new territory for me, and I’ll admit I barely know anything yet, but I’m eager to get a proper grasp of how they work.

My aim here is to pick up as much as I can, listen to what people have actually gone through, and work out if peptides have a place in a schedule that’s already packed with training. Can’t wait to learn from everyone and be a part of this community!

Welcome to what will likely become your next fixation 🙂. One tip for getting started: don't give in to the temptation to sample every option simultaneously. Begin with just 1 or 2, observe your response and how well they work before adding anything else on top.

Peptides tend to be unpredictable and results vary a lot from person to person, influenced by your goals and where your health stands right now.

So what results are you aiming for with them?

Greetings. While this community centers mostly on GLP1 and similar topics, there's also a section set aside for discussing other peptides. Give the search feature a try—chances are you'll come across the information you need, or at least find a member who can point you toward whatever you're curious about.

Right now I'm dealing with an upper back injury, and peptides are what I'm looking at to help with it. Beyond that, I want to get a proper foundation of knowledge, so that when future injuries come up, I'll have a clear idea of how to handle them. On top of that, a close friend of mine has had a shoulder injury for a long time, so being able to point him in the right direction once I've learned enough would be an extra plus.

Appreciate the guidance.

I’ll take a browse around the forum. Thanks a lot 👍

@GreenOlives OMG (from another of your posts), I have been through a vasectomy as well. What worked for me: a very, very tight jockstrap (particularly when running), ice on the testicles the moment pain kicks in, and Ibuprofen (600 mg every 6 hours as needed). Between them they deal with the acute pain and bring the swelling down.

Same situation here!! For roughly 2 years I dealt with near-constant discomfort, and what finally got it to calm down was precisely the routine you described: ibuprofen, ice baths/icing, plus proper support. Half tights during runs have made a noticeable difference for me, and these days things are mostly fine.

Even so, that region still strikes me as somewhat fragile — particularly following long runs or hard workouts, and especially when my energy is run down. It isn't exactly pain, more a lingering sense of "not quite ready to trust it."

So I was curious whether anyone in this community has explored peptides for tissue repair, anti-inflammatory help, or both. KPV came up in something I read, though I'm still pretty uninformed — only beginning to look into it.

Hope your recovery has kept moving in the right direction too 👍

The discomfort did clear up. That said, I have a hunch there is a connection, since every couple of years I wind up dealing with an infection (not an STI) that hurts and pushes my PSA higher. A broad-spectrum antibiotic clears it up.
