Has anyone here tried this combo?

Right now I'm combining Reta and Tirz, and I've been considering a Cagri injection partway through the week to help with appetite control, since my cravings usually climb as the week goes on.

The main reason I'm thinking about Cagri is so that I'd be hitting 5 different receptors.

This is the same protocol I'm on. It's a 6-day cycle, meaning I inject every 2 days. The reason I built it was to get past a plateau: Tirz came first, Cagri was layered in next, and Reta was added last. Compared with what a lot of other people report, Cagri seems to hit me less hard. I already put this in another thread earlier this week, but since it answers what you're asking, I'll paste it here again.

Over 4 months I climbed to 10mg Tirz/6D, and the familiar side effects started showing up: tinnitus and prickly skin/allodynia. That made me unwilling to push the Tirz dose higher. I lost 40 lbs during those months. Then came a full month with no movement.

Cagrilintide went in at 500mcg/6D. Nothing shifted, no effect at all. Retatrutide was added at 1mg/6D, with each shot staggered 2D apart, and the change was minimal. I went up to 1mg Cag and 2mg Reta, still minimal change.

Eventually I pushed to 2mg Cagri/6D and Reta 4mg/6D, now combined with the 12mg Tirz/6D. That finally worked, and weight loss started moving again. But those first 2 nights after the dose ramp, the skin sensitivity and borderline pain made me consider quitting Peptides for the first time in the 7 months since I began.

Things have improved only slightly, and I'm not thinking about abandoning this experiment entirely. Perhaps my goal was set too ambitiously? My starting BMI was 40.0, and the current target is <30.0 BMI (so moving from Morbid Obesity down to the high end of just "overweight," and not "obesity"). I didn't feel that was too much to ask.

I'll be honest that I've shifted the goal 3x since starting. I was trying to manage expectations, but the results have been so good that I kept moving the goalposts to get nearer to a healthy weight. Right now I'm 7lbs away from what I think is the final goal/BMI 29.something.

Adding Cagri to help with hunger is something I'm weighing too. After 8 weeks on Tirz I saw nothing at all, so I moved over to Reta. That hasn't produced anything either, though at 6 weeks it's still too soon to judge. The food noise is still there with both of them, which is disheartening. Patience is what I'm aiming for, but it's haaaaard 😔

With Tirz & Reta, aren't you overlapping on certain receptors? Doubling up on GLP & GIP strikes me as pointless. What's the rationale for not just running Reta & Cagri and dropping the Tirz?

Certain individuals don't tolerate larger doses well, or they react badly to Reta.

My situation was the opposite — it was bigger doses of Tirz that my body fought back against. Tirz has worked amazingly well for me overall, yet once I pushed beyond 10mg/6D, allodynia and tinnitus set in. That reaction is exactly why Reta got added into my protocol.

Then, as I kept escalating the doses, I came very close to abandoning 'tides completely! The skin sensations were making me miserable. I endured it for a few days, and now things have settled back to an ordinary level of feeling. It's not pleasant, but it's no longer unbearable either.

Sadly, jumping ahead 2 weeks from when I increased to 12Tirz, 4Reta, 2Cag, the stall appears to still be going. I ran an in-depth analysis with AI, and the explanation it came up with is that after taking a few weeks off and then restarting BPC and TB500, I've been holding onto water weight in an amount matching my weight loss, so it needs time to balance out again. We'll see how that goes.

If you don't mind me asking, how long has the stall been going on?

And when you added Cagri, did you respond well to it?

Tirz kept me stalled for roughly a month. I then brought Cagri on board and nothing much shifted. Another month went by before I introduced Reta. That got me down 5 more lbs, after which I plateaued once more. Following 3 weeks, I bumped the dose up and lost another 2. That's the situation as it stands.

Cagrilintide just doesn't work on me. At 2mg/6D I get nothing from it. The scale doesn't move, my appetite isn't touched, and I don't notice any sides either. (Nexaph branding, I don't test but I suspect if it was a dud batch I would have heard about it by now).

Still, even if the scale never budges again, I'd do it all over. 55 lbs gone across 7 months. Nearly all of that came from Tirz by itself. Just amazing.

And, if AI is correct, this is just water gain from resuming Wolverine, and I should see results again when things stabilize, or on my next break on the Wolverine stack.

Patience.... (not my strong suit!)

Is anyone else dealing with serious fatigue once Cagr was added? After my first dose at 250 mcg (given to my dog), I've been drowsy and worn out for 4 days now — sleeping 11 hours instead of 8 and feeling sleepy through most of the day. I'm on Tirz 12.5mg weekly, which does help, but will this fatigue eventually go away?

I'm confused about how the dose ended up with your dog while you were the one who felt sleepy. That's odd!

Regardless, this reaction is common with cagrilintide, and for certain people it never improves.
