To start with, this is mostly aimed at US users, and I know somebody else just started a similar thread

Trying to gather info on pens for myself and for others

Not long ago I bought what I took to be v3 pens on amazon, and they were dead on arrival -- the plunger mechanisms could not even beat gravity, let alone push a dose. (M3gear pen pictured)

Something else I am noticing: the next pen pictured, the one marked V1, looks a great deal like a convipen or a gansulin.

Any info on the mechanisms and how they differ would be welcome, for whatever brand you have used (novo,etc). I have also had a look at a friend's prescription pen, and next to these the mechanism inside it looked wayyy beefier, which struck me as interesting

So what are you running, what does the plunger on yours look like, and did it justify the price/what did it cost?

Not rage baiting. A V series pen will not push the plunger out unless there is a cart in it.

I got the first one (no M3 marking on mine, but otherwise exactly the same) off Amazon for about $35. It is a V1. I assumed it was broken and got in touch with the seller, who told me what Estarossa said. I loaded it up and it works fine once a cartridge is in it. It worked well enough that I bought 4 more.

Have a look at peptide critic's pens and youtube channel, on the differences and on the ones they sell. Mine is a V4 from there and it seems fine, though it being basically all plastic surprised me.

I have been looking at the V4. I am assuming the 3ml vials used in the other pens fit. Peptide Critic had vials listed, but nothing saying they worked in the V4

Has anyone run kwikpen's for their peps, to keep things abit more incognito and looking more legit?

Seems like it could be handy when travelling, since i've got a few boxes left and can move the labels off the used pens i've kept.

In the end I settled on a novo pen4 with an attachment, since the v3 pens would not work with anything in them at all. I have ordered some gansulin ones and will come back to report on quality later

People come out with things like this without it ever occurring to them that the fault might be theirs. A million people are using v3 pens.

Thanks for your concern. That said, there is no need to go on about it if it works for you. Most people here know them, their brand names, the quality and how they work. Just read the thread links given above, watch youtube videos of the pen you bought and learn how to use it.

Not rage baiting. A V series pen will not push the plunger out unless there is a cart in it.

my V1s do. though it takes a lot of dialling and pushing, since the increments are tiny.

Whichever device you load, precision and shelf life really come down to the quality of the cartridges.

Skimping on the cheapest carts ends up costing you more down the line.
