Hello everyone

I've been using glp for quite a while, and right now I'm taking part in a clinical trial.

Doing my part to clear the path for whatever comes after.

Which medication is the trial testing? And what kind of results are you seeing so far?

Is it Reta, or is it some other new one?
EloraTZP, that's not the case.

Lilly has shifted its focus to a different triple agonist strategy.

It's still too soon to know whether this is placebo or Elora.

I'll have to wait and see whether it seems to kick in at the next titration up. Otherwise it could just be the placebo effect.

Ahh, reta is tough for me to run because of a high rhr that I find uncomfortable. Not worth it in my case. Sounds like just eloralintide with tirz no?

NN and EL are both pursuing combos along these lines, aiming to handle breakthrough hunger more effectively for people on sema or tirz, respectively. There's a fair likelihood that EL will also roll out a comparable combo using reta.

Indeed, Lilly uses the name EloraTZP for it.

Triz and Elora are given as two separate injections.

Wow, is there any way you'll eventually learn whether you got the placebo or the active ingredient? And have you picked up on anything different so far?

What was the process that got you enrolled in it?
Mounjaro had been my medication from the day it launched (I really miss that $25 coupon), and while keeping up with how Reta was developing, I went ahead and put my name down with Lilly as someone who was interested.

Then out of nowhere a call came in — they told me I matched what they were looking for and wanted to know if I'd go through screening.

Usually GLP1 users are turned away, so a call wasn't something I was counting on.

With this trial, though, being on one was actually required.

Elora seems very promising, so I'm glad to serve as the lab rat.

Nope, it's double blind. Even once it's over, they don't tell us.

I figure the titration schedule will make it obvious as it goes along.

Hello. Taking part in a clinical trial for EloraTZP is quite an interesting experience. At what intervals do you increase the dose before you can tell a difference?

Before joining the trial, had you been stuck at a plateau for a long stretch while using Mounjaro alone? Could you share the protocol you were given?

Because it's double blind, none of us can tell whether our dose is being changed. It's possible we're stepped up on a 28 day schedule, the same way Trizepatide works.

At least there's a ramp in place if the dose does go up, which I'm happy about. In a few earlier trails, people began on a dose right from day 1.

Oof, going straight to a clinical dose is something I can't picture. Every time I move up a step, tirz wipes me out
Hi!

How exactly does Tirz hit you? I've got an idea of stacking small amounts of Tirz with Reta — Tirz on Tuesdays, Reta on Fridays. From what most people say, Tirz gives stronger appetite and binge suppression, and since food noise isn't really my issue, that would mainly be useful for my alcohol binges.

Thanks!
