I believe Chronic Pain has been discussed a little bit on this board and what peptides can be used to help relieve pain. I think that last ship has sunk for me! I've lost 400lbs and creeping my way into my mid 50's and having worked on my feet, in production enviroments all my life has taken it's toll. I've tried about every peptide protocol, PT, gym, cupping, needle point, scraping, wackadoo pain relieving gel there is and nothing works anymore. Fourteen surgeries later and more on the Horizon, the neck is giving out and I believe the Neurological issues maybe starting. The Migraines & Trigger points can barely be controlled, I'll end up on Migraine drugs and Botox here real quick. I'm getting PRP injections next month in my neck C2-T1, in hopes of slowing down or even healing what's going on. The Dr believes, this procedure will help eliminate all of this and or make it easily controllable for the next few years. If this works, then the lower back and a couple other joints maybe in for some of this. I was encouraged towards the end of the visit, when he asked about my Tirzepatide useage. I just said I got it through a Med Spa and mentioned it was a hell of a peptide. Then he mentioned about the peptides being able to be compounded and how he was going to research on himself, to see if he thought there would be a be a benefit for his patients. I think I found my guy 🙂

Anywho, anyone have any experience with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections? Would like to hear about your experience with it or someone you know. I'm staying stateside for this, so all same day and then taking a few days off of work to recover. Anyones thought are welcome as well, good bad right wrong 😉

I have not read the research on PRP so cannot help. What little I have seen is positive. I have chronically painful toes - cold allodynia from an obesity caused peripheral neuropathy. I have found PEA or palmitoylethanolamide has helped. Unlike virtually every other supplement it does have quite solid human clinical trial evidence of effectiveness for several different types of chronic pain, including fibromyalgia, and pain reduction improves with taking it for several months, and does not have side effects. And it has some anti inflammatory and antidepressant properties. Works on gpcr g119 receptors and modulates endogenous endocannabinoid signalling.

I have neuroapthy in hands and feet, with it flaring up lately. I'm 1/2 way through a bottle of PEA, but so far nothing. I supplement out the wazoo and have found very little to move the needle (so to speak) for pain or issues I have. I honestly can't manage the amount of pain I'm in everyday and don't want to ask for more medz. I haven't had an increase in 2 years and will needmore later in life I believe. Why I'm going with PRP, hoping to improve quality of life. Appreciate the information.
