Most of a year has gone by since the GLP-1s started. A PCP prescription, for obesity plus insulin resistance, put me on Ozempic and then Tirz. That side of things has gone well so far — roughly 15% of bodyweight gone. The most recent blood work came back the best it has ever been, everything normal. Theres still a long road ahead, and the more I understand the better I can steer it.

These days the aim isnt just losing weight — its recomposition. Trading fat for lean is the plan. Past 50, that process is slow and it takes patience. Progress so far: lean mass up over 7%, fat down around 8%, with plenty left to learn and a great many more gym days in front of me.
