For Tirz bought in tested group buys my high/low/average price per mg is $.275/$.14/$.185.

If you exclude the largest vial denomination, the average cost goes to $.214/mg.

$.214/mg x 12.5mg/week x 52 weeks in a year= $139.10. If you assume Hospira is good for 3 months and costs $30/vial (who cares, pick a number, my cost is around $8/vial), you'll spend another $120 (or $32).

Add syringes (dosing and reconning, although you recon and dose with 1ml insulin needles if you want), filters if that's your thing, alcohol wipes, etc and hey presto, you've got your all in cost. Compare that with the $1692/year for compounded that presumably comes with the required supplies.

Oh man, that is stressful. Glad you have a back stock to fall back on though.

I'm on 3 months for 8 kits/2 different GB from the same organizer, and it hasn't shipped yet. I guess they're packed and labeled, ready to ship. Not really her fault, supplier's were slammed and Janshik had a backlog on shipping.

Batch variability and no accounting for “batching standards” makes complete trust a dubious proposition.

I don’t particularly care testing for myself. Buy from popular places that are tested and taken by a variety of people and listen… negative news spreads quickly. That also represents a much larger sample size of lower quality data that better catches batch variability or outright chicanery.

Group Buy testing methodology sometimes is laughable, sending out 1-2 vials from an order containing hundreds to thousands of kits. Sometimes they request “samples” from the vendor for testing and test those directly, instead of randomly pulling from kits that are delivered.

I’m not saying testing is bad, just there’s a lot of science theater going on.
 
There are places you can organize with other individual buyers where everyone pitches in for a group test with or without being in a group buy. If you poke around here a little longer you will almost certainly find it if you haven't already.

Some of those vendors may even be site sponsors, some others may not be.

As for GB's saving money, so far my best price paid is 27.5 cents per MG of reta, and 16.4 cents per mg of tirz. I think there are people in here that have gotten much closer to 20 cents per mg of reta but I haven't personally found it. All of them include testing, i may or may not do yet another test with other GB participants as a group test to re-validate the Organizer's test.
