I am eyeing up doing an overseas order and saw I can get fosomax for pretty cheap.

I had a dexa a few years ago and was in Osteopenia range, but since then, ive gotten older and had a significant fracture in my leg, and I fully neglect going to doctors because I just dont like going.

BUT, im wondering if it would be stupid of smart for me to start once weekly Fosomax. I mean, I COULD go to the doc I suppose, but asking a whole internet of strangers seemed like a perfectly reasonable option. (Kidding) and I will actually ask doc, but can any of you share your experiences with Fosomax if you take it?

My mom had to take it because she was breaking lots of bones and I have definitely inherited her stunning personality and her wonky knees, so I was thinking tho throw it in the cart..

I do think my mom had reflux from it, and was so happy when she went off it. I dont necessarily wanna take things just to take them, but I do worry about my bones bc I want to ski hard this year.

You know your body best, right? As an older woman, and knowing how prevalent Osteo is for us, if you read up on the medication, and feel comfortable, try it?

I do know this.....a great way to increase bone density in women is working under weight. So lifting, or rucking....My sister says that the reason some fat folks have lots of muscle and thick and dense bones is they carry around all that extra weight all the time.

Good luck! In gray we have so much available to us, sometimes it can be hard to make the decision on whether or not to pull the plug on something.

My gym does them for members at no additional charge, IDK if this maybe an option for you but figured I'd share 🙂
