Hello, I'm new here. Looking at the touchdown photos people are sharing, it seems like quite a few kits don't show any batch numbers — or sometimes no label whatsoever. Is that typical? If there's no batch number, how can you tell whether your batch is the one reflected in their current Jano results?

Out of all my orders, just 2 came with batch numbers. The other roughly 20 had nothing except the product code, for example mt 1 10

Not once have my kits arrived with numbers printed on them 🤔

There's genuinely no way to tell. When a batch number is missing, the nearest substitute is a manufacturing date, and that offers only limited help when trying to line things up with a COA. Should both be absent, cap color becomes the sole point of reference — and that's unreliable — so you're left depending on COAs from other customers or on your own testing.

This happens all the time. There’s no way to tell. You should set aside money for testing. Or you can just take the gamble like most folks do….
