Amazon has it at a decent price where I am, and labels come with it. Is it any good? If it's merely okay, that's fine to say as well. My plan is only to put very basic information on labels. The obsessive streak will likely kick in eventually, and then I'll get a fancy, costly model. But for the time being.

Are you referring to the D110? I own one and I'm really happy with it. It's quite basic, yet excellent value at $15, and that comes with 1 roll of labels. A few of us here have it, and there's another thread about it somewhere. Similar to you, I might upgrade to a better model down the road, but for now it gets the job done and is far better than a sharpie and masking tape.

I even used it to close Father's Day card envelopes.🙂

Oh! That model was new to me, sorry about that. The one I have is the least expensive option there is, but I'm still really happy with it!🙂

Just read that the D101 takes different size labels than the D110 does. Heavier and bigger printer too. Otherwise the same.

For basic information printing, this device covers your needs completely.

I went ahead and ordered it. It's arriving tomorrow. The D110 cost $8 less, but it wouldn't show up until the end of next week. That's a dealbreaker! 😂

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. For $8 more, I’d have no problem getting it faster.

At some point I'll splurge on the $100 Niimbot M2 for myself. It's capable of printing in multiple colors (though you must swap ribbons and reload the label), but supposedly the ink resists water and oily fingers. Naturally, ribbons are an added expense, and I'll end up purchasing every color that exists.

When compared with the D101, the D110 handles label sizes that are a little smaller. The D110 is also more portable and compact, and its price is slightly lower.

Every time I see your username it makes me laugh 😂 yeah, I'll add those M-ones to my list of upcoming sales, like Black Friday and similar events. I know I'm going to end up buying a fancy one.

Will it work with the tiny circular stickers meant for 3ml vial tops? That's the purpose I use my D110 for. For the labels, I have a separate compact printer.

The unit I ordered showed up earlier today. Alongside it, I already own the Nimbot D11 and the M2. At this point, my task is simply to get familiar with how they operate, then produce a few labels along with vial caps.

The 110 and this model use identical supplies. I passed along a Niimbot link for the circular labels.

I couldn't resist grabbing the cap labels as well, purely so I don't look out of place among the trendy folks around here. Having only 1 label stuck to the side is outright Barbaric! Fingers crossed nobody on the forum peeks inside my freezer to check out my stash before those labels show up on Monday. 😉😛

I had a feeling that once I clicked into this thread, I'd end up wanting one too, so I steered clear for a bit. But now I'm taking the plunge lol. For our 3ml vials, which sticker roll size works best?
