Newcomer seeking direction

welcome bud! roughly 7 days back I began a deep dive into this path. likely spent around 3 hours per day researching. last night I put in my first order of tirz 15mg along with all my supplies. now it should be about 7 days until my first injection! YouTube is a great resource for finding videos on how to recon and how to manage proper sterility techniques.
I mean, wouldn’t that basically count as a “healthy addiction” haha

Hey, glad you're here! Digging through tons of threads has taught me a lot, particularly when it comes to the various kinds. My approach has been gradual - began with glp, then began incorporating additional peps. The YouTube suggestion gets my vote too - that's where I picked up recon pointers and injection techniques. Before long, you'll be doing this like a pro!
I've been browsing too. Placed my initial order

Welcome! My suggestion is to just read, a lot. There's so much information here I've yet to feel the need to ask anything specific yet. I finally made my first order after a couple months. There's a lot to process but just take time and don't rush into i

Welcome aboard! What I'd recommend is simply to do plenty of reading. This place holds so much material that I haven't felt the urge to post a specific question so far. It took me a couple of months before I placed my initial order. There's a great deal to absorb, so go at your own pace and avoid hurrying things.

Right now what I'm really after is a trustworthy source lol. Still can't discuss these things yet, but waiting has paid off
ugh! Doesn’t it drive you mad that naming a supplier outright isn’t allowed - for someone just starting out, that single piece of info would be worth more than anything else, and it frustrates me that I can’t simply name the supplier I’ve personally had a good run with.

That said, this forum does have a small set of well known suppliers, so my suggestion is to check out the main / top few, then reach out and start asking them questions. Many of them run WhatsApp groups you can join, and those groups are a solid source of feedback from other buyers.

Before committing, I’d make sure you ask any vendor you’re considering a few things: do they have a current COA for the peptide you want, do they ship to where you live, roughly how long does delivery take, what happens if customs seizes your order (do they refund or re ship at no cost), and which payment methods do they take.

What I’ve noticed is that suppliers who lean more toward wholesale / large batch peptide sales (on top of the smaller orders a typical forum user would place) usually have COAs available more often, because the people buying wholesale / large batch orders are the ones likely to organise group buys, and since wholesale buyers need products they can rely on, it’s the buyers themselves who arrange the COAs - so the odds are much higher that a COA for the batch you’re buying already exists.

Only 48 hours in, and I've picked up more than I did during weeks of digging around.

The real eye-opener was going through stairway to gray and getting into their telegram group. There's a ton of knowledge there, plus details on group testing and "group buys"

What stood out most, though, was that they keep historical 3P teat results on vendors.

I've narrowed it down to a top 2. Pretty sure I already know which one I'll go with, but now I need to sort out group testing - and check whether that vebdor even stocks all the peptides I'm after.
Stairway to gray has now come up 3 times in what I've been hearing, so I'm certainly going to dig into it and do more research. Appreciate you mentioning it!

Hello! I'm a newcomer too, and I've just begun Reta 1mg on my own. Honestly, I'm afraid peptides are a huge rabbit hole that I've jumped into on purpose.
My path matches this exactly — it began with checking out BPC-157 for an injury, then I got pulled into a deep rabbit hole of every strange and fascinating peptide, and eventually circled back to experimenting with GLP1. This week I took my first .5 Reta dose.

The content over there and on this site seems largely the same to me. Should one of them ever collapse, having a presence in each seems wise. The layout on this platform, though, is simpler for me to take in.

Got any YouTube channels worth following? Everything I keep finding looks super dodgy 😒

For general knowledge and learning what various peptides are used for, I think YT works well. That said, once you start reading forums and hearing about people's actual experiences, the picture often looks quite different.

I reached a plateau on reta 3 weeks in (I'm 2 months in now) even though I kept raising the dose. So I'm looking at triz at this point. And after spending time on YT, I still have no idea why that happened. On top of that, yt channels are always trying to sell you the world, as if this pep will fix every problem you have, though I'm sure the reality is far from that. Right now I've got a list of things I want to pick up, but I really need to trim it down a lot.

Good luck

Hi all,

I'm new to this space and have lately started exploring peptides, aiming to absorb whatever knowledge I can. Fat loss, recovery, and keeping my strength up for calisthenics are my main priorities.

I'm still working things out, so any genuine tips or personal stories you can share would mean a lot. Excited to pick things up from everyone here.
Glad to have you here. The main goal is dropping fat while keeping muscle intact. I'll be keeping up with your progress.

I'm on board with the advice to run one peptide solo before combining them, so you can tell which compound is causing which reaction. My suggestion would be to spend several months on each before adding another. In hindsight, I regret not tracking my doses, dates, and side effects more thoroughly.

Hi 👋🏽, seems like we're in a similar situation. I went way too far down the peptide rabbit hole, and now I'm practically fixated on every possible protocol out there for all sorts of purposes
Haha, that sounds just like me. I scroll through these forums and end up wanting to give almost every one of them a shot.

Glad to have you here 🙂

My advice would be to hold off on the temptation to try every peptide at once and pile them into a stack. If you do that, there is no way to tell which one is actually doing anything, and you will end up locked into all of them because you will credit the whole stack for the benefits when only 1 or 2 are really carrying the load.

In your position, I would suggest beginning with a GLP-1 for fat loss. When it comes to blunting appetite, Tirzepatide comes out ahead, and its anti-inflammatory profile is stronger than Retatrutide's. If joint pain or other inflammation-driven problems are part of your picture, the inflammation control from Tirzepatide by itself can make a major difference.

While you are dropping weight, it could also make sense to add GHK-CU, with the hope that it supports collagen production and reduces the loose skin that may show up after you reach your goal weight. A daily collagen peptide powder mixed into your coffee or another drink would help too. That said, I cannot recall a convincing before-and-after that would be strong enough evidence that GHK-CU has performed a miracle on loose skin, but it may be doing something during weight loss, and I think it is a peptide many people are using while losing weight.

Beyond that, I would not rush into other peptides and stack a bit of everything, because you will probably spend money on a pile of peptides without knowing which one is actually working. If you have other issues that you believe extra peptides would help, then bring them in gradually and track how they perform. It is tough to resist the pull of a bunch of peptides that all sound like a miracle cure and stack them all, but I do not think it is worth the price/cost of doing this if you cannot tell which is actually offering any benefit to you.

All the best on your journey 🙂
Is this only your own experience you're describing? Reta hasn't finished phase 3 yet, though the preliminary data suggest it does a better job at suppressing appetite. That said, those are averages, so individual responses will vary between the two.

As for reta's anti-inflammatory properties, I haven't come across anything yet, and it's still early days. Theoretically it ought to share that effect with tirz, but possibly to a smaller degree.

That said, I fully agree tirz is the simpler option to begin with. There's more evidence supporting it. By now it's a well-established product.
This comes partly from my own personal journey and partly from what I've picked up reading other people's stories on Reddit and YouTube. Over on YouTube there's a guy who calls himself a Doctor — though I have my doubts about that — and according to him, Tirz suppresses appetite more powerfully than Reta. My thinking is that Reta could be a solid option for someone who never pushed Tirz all the way up to the max dose, since they'd have less of a baseline to compare against and their system wouldn't have built up tolerance from sitting at that max Tirz dose for a while. Plenty of folks are clearly getting good results from it, but among people in my situation — dealing with intense food noise and binge eating — many report that Reta doesn't quiet the food noise or curb appetite as well. Still, if you have the chance and the interest, it's worth trying. Right now I'm running it alongside my Tirz since I bought 10 vials and hate the idea of letting them go to waste, though I'm aware Tirz is carrying most of the weight.

No two people are the same, so everyone's response to the GLP-1s will differ, I suppose

I get what you mean. I'm on the verge of placing my initial "grey" order with a vendor from this forum. Before deciding, I checked out and dug into roughly 4 separate vendors plus their Discord servers. It's been quite a journey, and I'm also picking up how BTC works.
That mirrors how things have gone for me up to this point 😅👍

I got 1 order through successfully, and already the pull to keep learning and pushing forward is there. I've only just begun with BTC, which has turned into yet another learning curve.

Yeah, I've picked up quite a bit too. Sadly, the vendor I was just about to buy from sold out of one of the things I needed, so I'll have to hold off until it's restocked.
