My first Reta kit just arrived after ordering from what I believe is referred to as a grey vendor. Down the rabbit hole I went, learning about crypto purchases and similar methods, all to bring expenses down. Besides crypto, are there any alternative payment methods available, even if they end up costing more? For my 10mg kit, I spent around $350, so going forward, any reduction in price helps. My plan is to get 20mg on the next order.

Sadly, it seems like the vendors discussed on this forum mostly deal in crypto. For less expensive Reta, that's the route to take. Dropping $350 on a single 10mg vial is a tough lesson, but that's how it goes. Using crypto isn't something I enjoy either, yet it does cut costs. Check out the well-known suppliers here on this forum; next time, $350 can get you hundreds of times as much Reta.

I actually received 10 vials, not only 1. I'll continue browsing this space to work out how this crypto stuff works. Thanks for getting back to me.

At the start, crypto felt uneasy to me. These days, though, it's the payment method I choose most.

Hello! I'm with you on the crypto payment side being intimidating. There was a thread I came across on here that laid out, step by step and very clearly, the process for creating an Exodus crypto wallet plus the fundamentals of moving funds into and out of it.

So far I've only made 1 purchase, but going forward I plan to send the supplier a $1 test transfer first, before the full amount goes out. Waiting for confirmation that the transfer had arrived, with the entire lump sum potentially stuck in limbo, had my stomach in knots.

Honestly, learning crypto has me really on edge — I'm the type to screw shii up. Beyond cashapp, I've got 0 clue about P.P, venmo, ect, and those are supposed to be the easy ones. 🤣

Spend some time going through the vendor threads here — this community has a ton of material, enough to keep you reading for days. I was surprised by how manageable crypto turned out to be. The part that gets to you is the thought that everything could vanish. Last night I sent 340 for 2 kits of 20mg reta, which is above what others have quoted, but the process was simple.

Absolutely! The whole thing feels really daunting! At some point I'll just push through and take the plunge. After all the digging I've done to finally track down suppliers, it makes sense to see it through to the end. Plus, locating reliable suppliers by yourself is tough enough—never mind even discovering where the market exists in the first place.

Crypto is a whole new world for me too, and honestly it feels pretty daunting. In the past I went through a different route to buy, but this time the vendor only takes crypto. There are so many guidelines and warnings to keep in mind — fingers crossed I handle it correctly and don't end up out of pocket 😳

Coinbase has worked well for me. MoonPay and the Jupiter app are other options too

I’m also just starting out, and yeah, I ended up getting scammed. That’s a lesson learned the hard way. At least now I’ve got a clear picture of what to avoid. Once you figure out crypto, though, it’s honestly not that hard. My only advice: research, research, research. Don’t just jump at the first option that looks good. Everyone here has been really helpful so far.

I hope talking about crypto doesn't violate any rules here — I've spent 10 years trading it, so I hope this is useful.

For smaller trades, Kraken tends to offer tighter spreads and cheaper commissions than most of the (trustworthy) exchanges. If you'd rather not keep your holdings sitting on an exchange, a wallet such as exodus works for storage. Even more important: it means nobody can see whether you're sending crypto, or where it's going.

Moving holdings back and forth between your exchange wallet (kraken, coinbase, etc) and a storage wallet costs only a small network fee. After that, you can send from your storage wallet to any destination you like. For obvious reasons, that's the route I prefer.
