I can't get past 5mg. Until 2 days ago, my scale and I were just swapping the same .75# back and forth. Then I lost 1.25#. At this point, I'm bouncing around .5#. LOL

Girl, I'm in the exact same boat! I burned so many hours hunting down the cheapest compounded tirzepatide, and then a kind stranger on reddit clued me in about Grey. That's when it hit me — I'd been paying 10x what I actually needed to. A kit (10 x the mg I want) costs me LESS than what 1 month used to. And yeah, I stalled out too, because my pharmacy pushed titration hard (.5mg every week, since I wasn't having side effects) just to get me onto the priciest dose — and now I'm at the ceiling. I learned about retatrutide right here, and I'm going for it. The reconstitution side I'm sure I can handle, and I feel good about that part, but my one small crypto account is refusing to let me send, lol. I figured that would be the hard bit, but my vendor offers other routes too, and PayPal looks simple enough if that falls through. Bottom line: don't let crypto stop you from trying! Plenty of generous, reliable folks here are great at getting through these hurdles!Countyroad233 said:
Back in September 2025, I began Tirzepatide through a Medspa that charged way too much, believing it was my only route. It didn't take long before I discovered Reddit and got introduced to the world of telehealths. For a period, I was all in, convinced I'd uncovered the loophole — until a few months back when something felt wrong. My medication quit working, I got stuck at a stall, and I haven't seen any genuine change since December, even though I've been doing everything correctly. Steady injection timing, proper titration, a calorie deficit eating plan, and working out every day — yet no progress since 12/15/25.
It was like I was injecting bath water. Food noise came back and appetite suppression vanished entirely. Plus, as my dose went up, so did the price. The relief was gone — I felt scammed and discouraged. I began following Reddit posts and comments about going grey, and that's how I ended up here.
Honestly — I'm scared out of my mind and feel like I've stepped into a completely different world, but I'm meticulous and I enjoy learning, so I'll be doing my homework.
I've never touched bitcoin, I have zero clue about reconstituting, but I have basic knowledge of some things from working in the medical field for 15 years, so I'm ready for the challenge.
Truthfully, cryptocurrency is the part that intimidates me most! I'm a Midwest mom and a ranch wife, so that's something TOTALLY foreign to me.
I've spent hours reading and I'm uplifted by how friendly everyone is and how useful the information is. I'm thrilled to join this community to learn all I can to get my health under control and take my life back. I've been on tirzepatide, but now I'm considering switching to Reta because of all the success stories and what appear to be fewer side effects! I'm looking forward to making new friends and lifelong support, so please bear with this redneck mama as I find my way down this new, bumpy, backroad, and don't hesitate to reach out with any advice you think would help!
Wow, that's so sweet of you! Sitting on it for a week to let it sink in is precisely what I did, and now I'm diving back into digging things up. Once I've got some questions, I'd really like to send you a dm! I appreciate the offer so much! Starting out feels incredibly overwhelming!HereKittyKitty said:

I used to find crypto pretty daunting. Bitcoin, BTC, swings a lot in value. Take a look at USDC and USDT — those are stablecoins — for an exchange rate that's basically 1:1 (maybe off by a cent or so).
Once you feel ready, getting a crypto wallet will be your next move.
Take your time. When I finally committed to learning it, I did a ton of reading. I'd do one thing, then give myself space to absorb it. Then I'd do another thing, and again let it really settle in. Then one more step... You see the pattern. Stay deliberate and careful. My very first wallet payment with crypto took over a week to finish. I buy crypto through Kraken, and their bank transfer takes 7 days before the money is usable. Annoying, but it stops me from making rash purchases. LOL
If there's anything I can do to help, just send me a message.
Not long ago, I made my very first cryptocurrency buy as well. Exodus was my choice too — I found out about it through threads right here. The coin I went with was BTC, which I had initially gotten through my paypal account, then transferred over to my exodus wallet. warning The amount I owed came to $304, so $304 worth of BTC is what I sent. Barely 2 minutes after that, it displayed that only $292 had gone through, since Bitcoin's value fell that quickly. I wrote an email to my source (CHP "olivia") explaining the situation. She didn't seem bothered at all, just said the payment was complete and fine. Whether this happens often, I can't say, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye on. Next time I might go with a crypto that's more stable.bambam84 said:
Last night was my very first crypto order, so I'm right there with you. There are probably cheaper routes, but the exodus wallet did the job for me. Read a lot before you commit. I bought usdt on the ethereum chain — that's what gets called usdt erc20. After that you grab a couple of bucks' worth of ethereum to cover what they call gas money for the transfer. It reads like a headache, but from there it's just copy and paste. Waiting for it all to clear still feels sketchy. Hope that's some help; I'm still a noob myself and someone else may have better pointers.Countyroad233 said:

Right — btc swings around, so its value can shift in either direction at any moment. From what I've read, usdc and usdt stay much nearer to the us dollar and barely move. That's the reason I chose usdt.Prime21 said:

It's such a relief to know I'm not the only one! I've lost count of how many hours I've sunk into YouTube, bouncing from one video to the next, learning the abc's and 123's of cryptoTeresaHip said:
I feel exactly the same way. Crypto makes me uneasy. Still, I know I'll have to take that step eventually.Countyroad233 said:

Last week my medication finally arrived.Regarding the bac water, I'm not fully confident because I've heard from several folks that its pH tends to fall outside the suggested limits. So I placed another order specifically for Hospira bac. Even so, I went ahead and mixed it, and right now I'm drawing doses from that initial vial.
